Used this to lock my hitch mounted bike rack in place for 4 days of driving, 12 to 15 hours days and it held up perfectly (the smaller of the two pin locks in the set). I was a little nervous initially, but had no reason to be. Definitely recommend if you're looking to add a bit of an extra theft deterrent/security for a trailer, bike rack, etc.

They fit just right on my truck and trailer.First use tho the rubber key hole cover fell off the trailer lock. I know they’re cheap so I can’t complain.Just need to keep an eye on it so that it doesn’t rust out and seize as I have had others do.So far so good tho, I’m happy with my purchase.

The lock is sturdy and works alright, but does not hold up well to the elements. I live in a rainey area, and after only one mo th of use, i have had problems with the lock. I have to jiggle the key and get it just in the right spot to open and for that i will not buy again

Put the tongue lock on my trailer no problem, until I tried to take it off. I tried to unlock it and the key wouldn’t turn, so I tried the second key, also wouldn’t turn, tried the keys that came with the hitch lock, those didn’t turn either. Long story short I spent over an hour messing with this lock to get it off my trailer, finally the key turned and it unlocked but tried it again (off the tongue) and same thing, the key would not turn OR come out of the lock. Literally used one time and it no longer works. Complete worthless junk. Total waste of money (and time). Spend the extra and buy brand name from an RV supply store.

The hitch lock is great, but the trailer lock needs a little work. My 9 y/o sold was playing with it and unscrewed the opposite side of the lock. I put red locktite on it and screwed it back together. Works good other than that issue.

I purchased this set when I was borrowing my father's utility trailer. He was simply using a nut and bolt as his trailer tongue/ball lock and has been non too concerned about locking his trailer or hitch on where he lives. I on the other hand figure its worth the time and money to lock up both for safety and theft deterrent so I picked this up to use while I borrows it and leave with him and "thanks for lending me the trailer" gift. Now if he uses them I don't know, but it was very nice that is comes with 4 separate keys but both locks are keyed the same so you essentially have a main and 3 spare keys and no hassle carrying 2 main and figuring out which goes to what lock. This was also one of the only tongue coupler locks that I have been able to find that fits his seemingly abnormally wide coupler lock. Most other locks were for the skinny locks that were no more than 1" wide. This barrel is 2-1/2" wide which fit perfect without much room to wiggle. Has what look to be good weather caps over the key holes. I hope they continue to work well.

Works as intended the only issue I have is the rubber boot coming off too easy. Even easier in the hot temperatures, we have had as of late.
