I bought a ton of these boas in multiple colors. I made myself and my 3 kids halloween costumes.. These boas were exactly perfect for our chicken costumes and we got a ton of compliments. Noone could believe I made them. I was hot glueing boas for days. And yes there were feathers everywhere for months..bahaha. I would find them all over the house.I can definitely recommend that if you need Boas for any occassion these are perfect!

Comes in beautiful colors, and feathers are nice and soft. A few will fall out, but plenty left. only wore twice so they may stop falling out after wore longer and more times. Beautiful colors to pick from and this seams to be a medium weight boa, just right for summer wear at party.

You get what you pay for, I ordered the black and gold boa. I must say it is pretty but does shed quite a bit and it is a little thin. Also weird white rope on each end, probably would not have ordered this had the rope ends been in the picture or in the description, but again you get what you pay for and it's not worth the hassle of returning.

I bought this boa for a Klaus Hargreeves cosplay from The Umbrella Academy for DragonCon. I wore it 4/5 of the days and not only did it shed minimally, it stayed beautiful the ENTIRE TIME.Now, I am not sure how many people reading this have been to a big convention like DragonCon before, but it has upwards of 85,000 people there and there's plenty of walking, posing, sweating, and just generally being around people. Wear and tear is an issue. This boa held up so well, I don't really even have to buy another for next year.Of course, there's a tiny "bald spot" on the boa where the feathers thinned a bit and some of the feathers are sort of ragged from where they landed around my neck, but if that's ALL the damage that happened after this poor boa was put through the wringer, that's incredibly impressive.Despite not NEEDING to buy another boa, I think I will anyways for next DragonCon because the quality is so good. Definitely recommend.

This is *not* a typical, shedding boa. It is much more substantial than I expected and the shedding has been minimal. It is being used as a prop in a musical so is not being treated with kid gloves but, after the first day or so, scarcely a feather has fallen.

Ordered two of these for different things. Opened the first one and feathers went everywhere. It sheds horrible. Also feathers a very itchy. I’ve never seen one like this. Returned the second one.

I read the reviews on this item before I purchased it and thought it would be a decent, I was wrong. The boa I received is matted and very thin. The minute I took it out of the bag I had feathers everywhere. I completely understand that feather boas are going to shed but I have purchased others for halloween costumes and not experienced as much shedding as I did with this one. I put it back in the bag and haven't taken it back out because it makes such a mess. The big draw on this is the cheap price, but the shipping adds $3 to $4 to this item which puts it at the same price point as the one I ended up buying at party city (which was a lot nicer and sheds WAY less). I would not recommend this item to anyone.
