Was really happy to purchase the Cuisinart electric griddle that could take waffle plates so I could get rid of both my George Foreman grill and my waffle iron.Happy to report that these waffle plates work at least as well as my stand-alone waffle iron did. The waffles it makes are a generous size, and these plates did a good job creating a nicely-browned surface on the waffles. It also cooked them more quickly than my old waffle iron did, which made it easier to get everyone fed in a reasonable amount of time.These waffle plates are a keeper!

Bought to replace my old grates of 10 years. Bought on Amazon Warehouse Deals as acceptable. They were in perfect condition and fit perfectly. Made awesome waffles. These griddles are well worth the purchase. So versatile and makes it so you don’t have store a bunch of appliances in your house.

I was afraid after reading the product descriptions, watching the videos, and reading the reviews that these waffle plates would not turn out the way I had hoped. However, fear not! They make great, deep, yummy, Belgium waffles quickly and easily. All the information I saw made me think the plates wouldn't attach to the griddle easily (it said "hooking mechanisms not included.") But the plates are easily interchangeable, easy to clean, and just what you need for those Saturday morning waffle treats!

I was hesitant to buy these waffle plates because of reviews that said they didn't fit well, but I didn't end up having any issues (my Griddler model is the GR-4N). The plates I received snap into place as they should, fit well and heat evenly.The basic waffle recipe in the accompanying booklet is great too, except for some reason I can only ever get 15 of the 16 squares filled from the batter LOL.I admit I was a little put out by the price, as it's almost the same as buying a stand alone waffle maker and I had already spent quite a bit for the original appliance. But to be fair, I do like the design and washability aspect, and storing extra plates is definitely easier than storing another full size appliance

Tengo una parrilla Cuisinart GR-4N aunque también es compatible con la GR-5B. La parilla por si sola es una maravilla y ha cambiado la forma en la que preparamos muchas cosas en mi casa pero estas placas para convertir la parrilla en una waflera es también muy buena compra. Prácticamente ya no hacemos hotcakes.Se ponen y se quitan en segundos, se lavan super rápido y mientras no uses utensilios que puedan rayar el acabado antiadherente, se ve que van a durar por mucho tiempo.En mi casa hacemos la receta básica de wafles que viene en el instructivo incluido y rinde exactamente para 3 piezas (12 wafles ya cortados). Los wafles ya cortados son como del tamaño de un pan de caja (como el bimbo) pero rectangulares y si te sobran se pueden congelar por varias semanas y recalentar en el tostador.Para que salgan los 4 waffles completos, hay que verter 1 taza de masa. La receta básica del instructivo hace casi exactamente 3 tazas y yo uso la taza medidora para verter la taza exacta sin tanteos. Caliento las placas en High hasta que se prende e foco verde y dejo la masa 3 a 4 minutos dependiendo del tostado que quiera. Es super fácil y rápido. Antes nos daba flojera hacer hotcakes y aun nos da mucho pereza pero en su lugar hacemos wafles!!!

These plates are perfect for our Griddler. Easy to install, easy to clean (we really love the OXO Good Grips Electric Grill and Panini Press Brush, works really well on the Griddler plates) This is my second set of Griddler Waffle Plates - I love them so much that they were worth buying again but here are three things I learned that may prevent you from buying a second set in the future:1. The instructions state to spray the plates with non-stick spray prior to use. Do not do this. The plates are already made from high-quality non-stick material and this step is not necessary - in fact it will make the plates eventually an unusable sticky mess. In my experience, using non-stick spray ruins these plates because eventually they will not work properly and you will have to scrape to remove the waffles which by then are a giant pile of cooked batter mess.2. Do not run through the dishwasher. Again, the instructions state that these are dishwasher safe, but save your bucks and handwash these plates! I'm not sure which of these two ultimately lead to the demise of my first set, but I can't think that a high-heat wash setting in the dishwasher did much to help either. Carefully hand wash (again we use the OXO Good Grips Electric Grill and Panini Press Brush and/or a Norwex cloth with great results)3. So obvious, but DO NOT use anything but the rubber spatula that came with your Griddler to remove waffles. Period. If you scratch the surface, start saving for another set! Speaking from experience, without thinking I removed waffles with a fork here and there - knicking the surface a few times and it became a big deal when the surface began to rust and peel after washing. Something about serving food cooked on peeling & rusting surfaces isn't really appealing to me :)Although it may be a little time-consuming, it is worth it every time to preserve these quality plates! I can see them lasting many years when properly cared for.
