While they show photos on Amazon of the top and the bottom, you will find they are identical. So... my guess is there is no correct way to install right side up! So just read the label on the small straps that go round the filters and install them with the words right side up. That's all I could determine was the way to do this, but I don't think it really matters!

These look like an exact copy of the originals. They fit perfectly and I had no problems with the fit or construction. You have to be careful ordering to make sure you have the correct model. Pool water is now noticeably cleaner.

These filters do not work as advertised. I have had nothing but issues ever since using these filters the last 2 weeks. I’ve even changed out to the 2nd set I bought. Please issue a refund immediately. I am not going to use these as I don’t want to damage my pool. I’ve also already spent hundreds of extra dollars on chemicals to try to fix the issues caused by poor filtration in my pool.

Fast delivery as always. I installed the new filters yesterday and was surprised to find the 3” holes on the bottom of the new filter did not fit the PentAir attachments at the bottom of the filter, too small. Inspecting the new filter I noticed it had a hard plastic surface on both the top and bottom of the new filter vs a flexible rubber material on the old filters. Flipped all four filters over (as seen with the name brand upside down on the bands surrounding the filter) and they all slid right into place. I also noticed the top plastic mounting attachments now require to be tapped into place with a mallet where the old filters could be positioned by hand. We’ll see how hard they are to get off in three months for cleaning. In short, they fit and are working great so far.
