I bought this tent as a temporary way to cover my generator in inclement weather, until I have time to build a permanent box for it. I set it up today, and it really is easy, considering the size. The hardest part was just spreading it out without help, and that wasn't bad. The canopy couldn't have been easier to install and the little button to lock it open is brilliant. I can now deploy the tent in a few minutes when needed, and fold it away when it's not.I know my use case isn't typical, but this tent should work perfectly for my needs. I plan to try it without extending the legs, which will still give me good ventilation and less chance of rain blowing in. I have to duck down to get under it, but at 6 feet tall, I can easily stand in the middle. The frame is very solid and the fabric appears durable. I will not know how well it does until the first time I actually need it, but I have high hopes. The engineering of the tent is brilliant. From its easy setup and stability to the nice touches like the quick-connectors for the canopy. The canopy is reinforced everywhere it needs to be. I wanted the kit with the walls in case I need to block rain coming in at an angle, and this just gives me extra options. The way that it folds down for storage, the bag and the wheels are all great touches. There are strong handles on the bag to make it easier to move.I was a little disappointed with the sandbags, only because I don't think they would keep heavy rain out, but thats just more weight, right? But then, that's not really what they're for, and I'm sure they would do great for just a windy day. I think what I will end up doing is just use the 300 pound generator as the anchor and run straps between the generator's heavy duty handles and the tent's frame. I think the fabric would rip before that thing moves.I'm sure I will find other uses for the tent, but for my intended use, it's an economical solution that I'm hoping will meet my needs. It looks really nice, too. I believe the fabric also has a flame retardant coating which also factored into my choice. But even without that, I would be very happy with this tent.

I ordered this tent because the other major brands do not have the silver coating inside and that makes it really hot in the summer. I received it and popped it up right away to check it out and make sure there was no damage from shipping. I want to point out the features that make this tent setup really easily. All the legs and the center are push button. You don't have to cramp the corners up to set this up. As a short person, I can push the center up fully and lock it with no problem. The top and the sidewalls attach with little tabs. Look at my photos and you can see the tabs. They just slide on. All the corners and the center of the front of the walls All have zippers. They are thick plastic zippers that should hold up well and not rust. The front wall rolls up and has toggle ties to attach it inside the tent. This makes it easy to roll It down and close up your tent for multi day events. The material of the top and walls are the same and both feel durable and not see thru like other side walls I have had. All the walls attach with velcro in 3 places down the legs of the tent. It comes with a bag to store the walls, sand bags, stakes, and the zippered cover that goes over the whole thing. This means you don't have to try to slide it back into the bag. I feel like the price was a very good value for all the features!THE MOST IMPORTANT PART for longevity of these popup tents is to weigh it down and tie it down really well! I don't use the stakes or sand bags provided. I use 4 buckets of cement on pavement or I use 4 ratchet straps that hook to twist in steel ties stakes on grass.

As standard 10x10 canopies go, this stands above the rest! Not only is it constructed well and easy to set up, it also comes as a complete set that includes; optional sidewalls, a carry case/cover, heavy-duty stakes, and 4 weight-bags that can be filled with sand/rocks and velcroed to the legs of the canopy. Having all of these different options to cover the frame and secure the canopy against strong winds makes it extremely versatile and inspires more confidence in its durability. When it comes to setting up the canopy, it is quite simple thanks to the central locking/unlocking hub that allows the legs to fold and unfold. Two people can easily get this canopy deployed in 5 minutes or less! This ease of use is further amplified by the height-adjustment buttons on the legs; they are like large levers that are easy to manipulate as you slide each individual leg up or down. Just make sure you release the button and let the leg click into place once at the desired height!Since buying this canopy, I have used it in both cold/wet conditions, as well as hot/sunny conditions. I have had no issues with water leaking through, and it provides ample shade since the fabric is thick on the covers. All in all, this is an excellent product; buy with confidence!
