Probably my best investment iv made. Was able to hang it from he top above the Bimini top. Easy to use, and the strap cables hold very well.

Such an improvement over the permanent ones that bang into boat houses and fuel pumps in the slip. Decent improvement over the swing in ones. Cheaper than all of them. Let's be honest you don't need half a dozen surf boards on your boat anyway. Happy to switch two swing aways for two single board holders.

Maybe I am just too stupid. I do not understand the bungie/cleat design on this. From the one picture (and now experience with it in my hand) it appears the idea is to wrap the bungie all the way around the board. This means the board is suspended rather than held "down" into the rack arms (such that the rack itself is only marginally engaged - this is almost a bungie only design).A more logical design (consistent with every other rack I have used) would be to have the bungie start on the outside of the rack/board and then wrap around the top to a cleat inboard. Such a design would “hold” the board "down" into the rack. But that is not what this product is doing. The result is really kind of dumb. Theoretically if you had a narrow board, the board itself would not even rest in the bottom of the two arms – instead, it would be suspended above the bottom gully of the arms, held exclusively by the bungie and not even touching the arms at all! It is difficult to imagine what the designer of this thing was thinking – it seems really thoughtless.Again, maybe I am just too stupid to understand how to use this. It seems to me the bungie should have been anchored onto the outboard side of the arms such that the bungie could then be pulled “over” the board and then anchored to the cleats on the rack on the inboard side, thus pulling the board down into the arms such that the arms can then do all of the work (rather than the bungie).Otherwise, the rack is super high quality. It is a terrible shame that the super nice manufacturing quality is rendered kind of pointless by a terrible bungie/cleat design.

I like it. Works great for our surfboards on the boat. I have a white board that has some markings on it in black from their protection they put on this rack. Otherwise it is great!
