The grooved works well for vinyl cove base. Once the depth is set it works really well for making the groove an appropriate depth.

Worked well with rubber trimmings we put in our garage. No problems using the tool at all. It is sharp, cuts easily and straight. It's pricey for just one use but there doesn't seem to be anything else to choose from.

This is a great little tool. I'm installing rubber molding for the first time and without this tool, it's almost impossible to get a flush mount to the inside and outside corners. Couldn't find this tool any where except for Amazon. I watched a YouTube vid and saw the guy using this tool to install rubber molding and didn't even know what to call it. Great find, Amazon comes through once again when no one else seemed to have it.
