The metal part isn’t tight fitted to the black part which is giving me a very hard time trying to replace it it’s literally a .5 amount bigger then the light that was removed

These Cougar Motor D3S HID bulbs were a great budget-friendly replacement for failing OEM HIDs. The 6000K color temperature gives off a nice crisp white light, making night driving much clearer without the yellowish tint of stock bulbs. While they aren't as bright as some high-end LED alternatives, they still offer great visibility and a consistent beam pattern.Installation was truly plug-and-play, taking only about 10 minutes per side with no error codes or flickering. For the price, these are a solid choice if you're looking to replace old or dimming HID bulbs without spending a fortune on LEDs. 4 stars for performance, ease of install, and value!

I've had this car for 10 years and it was time for the headlights to get replaced. These fit perfectly, were pretty easy to install, and function well enough to tell a huge difference in brightness from my old ones. Of course, my old ones were over a decade old, so that may have pumped into my calculus, but the new bulbs and projector lenses returned the clarity of good and proper cut-off line to my field of vision. Something that had been rather washed out, as of late.I had previously dropped a pair of LEDs into my housings and those worked pretty well, too. But I think these are a better fit for the output I was looking for. Superb deal with that marketplace price!

I got lucky with these popping up on Vine right when I had a headlight go out. I replaced only the one at first to compare and couldn't tell much difference between the two, so obviously longevity will end up being the real test, but given these are quite a bargain compared to the Sylvania replacements, very much worth the try. Will update if these go out before I'd reasonably expect them to.

Ordered these to replace the worn-out HID bulbs in my car. I followed a YouTube tutorial for the disassembly in order to access the headlight assembly and swapped these in. Everything worked as expected, with no errors on the dash. There's a noticeable improvement in brightness, which is much appreciated when I'm driving at night. Light color is a nice pure white, with no excessive blue.I'm very satisfied with these bulbs and even more pleased that they're a great value over what the local auto parts store would've charged.

I got these to replace a burned out headlamp on my son's Jeep Grand Cherokee. Replacement was easy once we got to the bulbs (which wasn't so easy, but that's a vehicle issue not an issue with these bulbs), plug and play. Initially we just replaced one of the bulbs, but we found that the new bulb didn't exactly match the color and brightness of the remaining original bulb. This is to be expected as bulb brightness may change over time. We therefore changed the second bulb as well and now everything looks uniform.There have been no error messages on the dash, and the brightness of these bulbs is very good. It appears to be an excellent product, hopefully it lasts a long time. The price is very good- a small fraction of what the OEM bulb costs.
