this is the way to go if you need to blow out your heater core on your 4th gen Ram!did the trick now i have heat! just be careful on the air pressure you use. flush back and forth, I got a lot of casting sand out of mine. worth trying instead of replacing at $1200.00 to $1400.00.

2004 Tacoma/5vzfeThis product is truly fantastic. I used this gun to flush out my radiator, heater core and the engine when I replaced the intake manifold gaskets and water by-pass pipe sealant. It works very well but caution must be taken with just how much pressure you are using and besure to remove the thermostat or you will get a face full of water...ask me how I know. I never went above 40psi and metered the air. Good idea to watch a few videos before performing the flush. The trigger which controls the compressed air failed open and began pushing too much air into the system so I sent it back but would buy another.

I had an issue with poor heating from a heater core in our 2017 Audi Q7. I used this to backflush them and now they are back to working perfectly again. I highly recommend this tool.

This tools works pretty well for flushing heater cores. Unfortunately the water hose quick connect is absolute junk. It will pop off if you look at it wrong. The threads are also poorly formed, which led to the threads on the tool itself being ruined. But yourself a better hose quick connect tool and shut off valves and it would be less stressful to use

Got this item just in time to flush my coolant system and replace a possibly stuck open thermostat. I hooked it all up and flushed the radiator, engine and heater core all separately by isolating each component by removing all the hoses as well as the thermostat. Gave each part a blast one way then the other. Not sure how much debris was in there, but the water came out clean pretty quickly. The air seemed to add agitation to each component. Also, I noticed that I could disconnect the water hose from this tool and the water is shut off, and won't just run out. I saw a similar item from MAC tools, but it was much more expensive.
