Step 1: Choose a Recipe: Prepare the cookie recipe you’d like to make, ensuring that the dough is suitable for using a cookie press (it should typically be slightly moist for easier extrusion).
Step 2: Clean: Before using, ensure that all parts of the Cookie Press (including the nozzle and tube) are clean and dry.
Steps for Use
1. Fill the Dough:
①First, roll the dough into small pieces for easier filling.
②Remove the end of the press and take out the tube.
③Place the prepared dough into the tube, filling it adequately but not overflowing to avoid spillage when pressed.
④Reattach the tube and nozzle securely.
2. Choose a Mold:
Select the desired mold head and attach it firmly to the front of the press.
3. Using the Cookie Press:
①Hold the Cookie Press vertically over your baking paper or tray, maintaining an appropriate distance (usually about 1-2 inches).
②Firmly grip the handle and gently press. The nozzle will extrude the dough into the desired cookie shape. You can adjust the pressure as needed.
③Release the handle, allowing it to return to its original position for easy next use.
4. Repeat:
Move the Cookie Press to a new position each time, repeating the pressing action until the baking tray is filled with cookies.
5. Bake:
Follow your recipe’s instructions and place the baking tray in a preheated oven. Keep an eye on the cookies to ensure they do not overbake.
6. Cool:
Once the cookies are done baking, remove the tray and allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After use, clean the Cookie Press promptly by disassembling it and washing all parts with warm water and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners.
Ensure all parts are dry before storage to prolong the lifespan of the product.
Tips
If the dough is too dry, it may cause the cookie press to jam; consider adding some liquid (such as milk or egg) to adjust the moisture of the dough.
Using different shaped nozzle heads can add variety and fun to your baking.
