Mirror portion is very thin, likely plastic and doesn’t appear very durable. Let’s see if it makes it through a Pennsylvania winter, with plowed snow and ice thrown against it. Used outdoors to warn of oncoming traffic. Size, visibility, functionality - OK. Durability and suitability TBD. Cost was high, given the quality.

Speedy deliveryI bought this for my driveway corner. Works good but when we opened the package the mirror has a dent in it and wont come out. I hung it anyway and it works fine. I did notice that the mirror is pretty chea, so hard telling how long it will last.

I am using this inside my home so I can see my door to the bedroom while I'm in the bathroom of the master bedroom. I have ordered probably 5 mirrors from different stores and have had issues with each. Glass is optimum for clarity and no distortion, but the only glass mirror I could find from Pottery Barn has antiquing on it and it looks very speckled and is disturbing. The Umbra mirror is distorted around the edges and very disturbing (tried two of those from amazon). This mirror is very lightweight and also seems fragile, but It has no distortion and the image is very clear. It can also be hung flat to the wall. Depending on your application, the degree of convexity can also be an issue. I had a few that were not arced enough and so I couldn't see the needed areas. I hung a tahitian lei around this one to hide the orange frame. The frame could easily be painted too. It's a good overall product that can be useful for many applications.

SUPER cheap and flimsy and WAY overpriced. No proper way to install it so that it hangs securely. Worst purchase I've ever made on Amazon (and I make a lot of purchases)!!

We installed the 18 inch mirror on our front porch, looking at the front door. It allows us to easily see if a package has been delivered, or if a person is on our front porch, but out of view. The mounting hardware was easy to understand and set up. They didn't include locking washers for the bolts (8,) be we had them so it wasn't a problem. We mounted it on a shingled wall, but they also included a way to mount the mirror on a pole with a diameter of about 2.5 inches or a bit less, and a expanding bolt that could be used to mount it to a brick or cement wall. The field of view is terrific! Now we don't have to keep opening the door, and losing heat from the house, to see if there is a package out there. Made in Greece. It's ridiculous how tickled I am by this little home improvement!

Works well as a reflector in my yard. I’ve mounted to a fence to reflect the view of my yard/garden. Provides a different perspective, like a gazing ball but not quite.Good construction and had held up well to the elements. I didn’t like the orange color on the rim and back so I took it apart and spray painted the base. It held the paint well and went back together easily.

To make room for two cars in our garage, I wanted to park within a couple of inches of the garage side wall. The car is a Camry and it's rather hard to tell just where the front corner is as I sneak past the garage door vertical rail. My method has been to back in a couple of inches, get out and look, go a couple more inches, get out again, etc., etc. I did need to bend the mounting bracket a little to get the mirror to line up with the rail while viewing from inside the car, but it worked out okay. I was expecting to have to disassemble the mirror to remove the dust cover, based on other reviews, but it turned out there was a very slight wrinkle along one edge, maybe on purpose, so I was able to get a hold of the cover and it peeled right off. Once the cover was removed, I was impressed with how sharp and clear the mirror is, allowing me to slip by the door rail within just an inch or so for the perfect park job.
