I'm using this device to capture spoken word and musical ideas. It performs exactly as I expected. The device is not audiophile quality but it's perfect for the money. The included AC adaptor was an added bonus.

I’ve bought tens of thousands of products on Amazon and have never once written a negative review before today.Bought this to play back some childhood memories I had recorded on cassette. I know I could have paid more for something more premium, but I had a total of 4 tapes of which I planned to play back once each to decide which to record digitally, and I wasn’t concerned with audio quality.This product ate and completely destroyed the FIRST cassette I attempted to play in less than 3 seconds.Absolute piece of trash. I wish I could get compensated beyond refunding the price of this garbage considering it destroyed priceless audio from my childhood.Worst purchase ever - save yourself the trouble.

This is a very simple cassette player. It doesn't have much in the way of modern interfaces like MP3. But it's a cheap way to revisit the old cassettes from your youth 😁. The built in speaker is, understandably, pretty poor, but it sounds pretty good with headphones.Or you could use the headphone jack to connect to your bitchin' stereo 🤪

My friend and I are both visually impaired and we live far from each other. We keep in touch by making speaking onto cassette tapes and then passing them back and forth to each other. My friend needed a new cassette recorder, so I purchased this and had it sent to her. She reports that it is working out fairly well. She says the external mic jack does not fit the mic she had around the house, but that the internal mic works ok. She says the playback sound is a little weak, so she needs to turn the volume way up. All that being said, it appears that this cassette recorder will work for us to stay in touch.

Longtime I have been searching for a similar item to hear the old songs from the cassettes. Satisfied with the product. Only thing is that I had to manage a converter adapter for the plug in device. Good.

I have many vintage cassettes, unfortunately many have not been rendered into a cd format. Besides playing cassettes you can also record on it. For a relatively inexpensive model the quality of the sound is quite acceptable. You have to use large batteries to make it portable, it also comes with a plug in cord.
