About this item

  • 【1.5m CO2 Adapter High Pressure Hose】: CO2 adapter quick connector hose is compatible with DUO, E-Duo, ART, TERRA, Crystal 3.0 and Gaia (any new soda maker for QC cylinders), it can only deal with gas CO2 tank, not applicable to liquid CO2 tank, the 1.5m connecting cable makes it more convenient to use, and won't be troubled by the distance.
  • 【Quality Material】: It's made of high-quality plastic and metal, which is anti-rust, anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, anti-aging, and not easy to be deformed, the rubber ring is made of food-grade material, which is safe and reliable, avoiding the problem of bursting and expanding the hose, and the airtightness is better, and it won't transmit the chemical flavour.
  • 【No pressure reducer required】: Since carbon dioxide turns into liquid under pressure, the pressure in the carbon dioxide cylinder is about 50 bar no matter how much it is inflated, so there is no need for a pressure reducer. Note: When choosing a carbon dioxide cylinder select the one that is the right size for your room, if the gas leaks, the carbon dioxide concentration will be too high and there will be a danger of suffocation.
  • 【Save Time & Money】: It can be directly connected to large CO2 tanks and sparkling water soda makers, you don't need to change bottles frequently, it is suitable for non-siphon CO2 tanks with standard CGA320 outlet valve, with this CO2 adapter can save you a lot of time and money.
  • 【Easy to install】:It is very easy to install and use, before installing, check whether the gas cylinder is empty or not, then just connect the CO2 tank to the adapter.(You can run the hose through a hole in the underside of the countertop or table or drill a hole in the back panel of the bubbler.)

One of my friends turned me onto soda stream because I had a minor addiction to bubbly. I was probably going through one to two cases a day. But as I’m sure anybody who’s owned a soda stream knows their entire business model relies on people paying for a refill cartridges. Kinda like the printer industry. He had shown me his set up, which included a tank which you would refill canisters to fit into the machine directly. This works for him, especially considering the soda stream was on his counter and he didn’t have any space for a tank within range of the soda stream. This seems like a lot of extra work to me though. I put my soda streaming in a place where I could hide a 10 pound tank behind my wine fridge and reach the soda stream and I bought this. Now, instead of having to swap cartridges and refill them manually I just have to get the tank refilled every 2 to 4 months depending upon how much I use it in hindsight I should’ve gone with a 20 pound tank but live and learn.Product seems of high-quality, I haven’t had any weeks or any concerns in six months of use, and I can’t even imagine how much I’ve saved on refilling my “official“ soda stream cartridges. On top of how much I already saved on not buying eight cases of bubbly a week. Worth every penny.

Been using this product for a while now. As long as you are not a clown who thinks hand tight is fine and you hit it with a wrench you will find this product works great and does not leak gas.

This is exactly what I needed for my terra. I got a 10lbs co2 tank from airgas and now can get my tank refilled for about the price of a new sodastream co2 tank. This also seems to carbonate more effectively, although maybe the 10lbs co2 tank just causes co2 to release faster resulting in more carbonation; either way, very happy with this. It was easy to install, added the o-rings as specified and connected everything and used a wrench to tighten the cga320 connector. almost seems like it carbonates better than the sodastream tanks. No weird taste like that other review says, that worried me but luckily mine tastes just like normal. Maybe they used unfiltered tap water or something, using filtered water is critical with the sodastream; tap water results in a plastic or chlorine taste.

This tube and metal parts of this adapter hose seem to be decent quality. It connects with the soda stream machines and can save buying the expensive refills.

I love this thing. For the first few months I owned my SodaStream, I used another device to refill the one-pound bottles. It was time consuming, and while I could get full fills, it seemed wasteful as you have to depressurize the fitting after transfer (or else the o-ring explodes when you remove the bottle. Ask me how I know.) I would then need to frequently vent the bottle after ending up slightly over the rated weight, before the bottle warmed up, for safety. Further, getting a full fill took two trips between the freezer and the CO2 tank. Also, despite my 20lb CO2 cylinders being beverage grade (I had two from my draft beer setup, and only need one), they are not designed to be used inverted. Doing so deposits a small quantity of oil and metal shavings into the smaller bottles, which must be cleaned out each time they were filled for peace of mind (don't want it to build up too much and get blown into my soda). So I bought this and took the direct route. I'm now a year and 682 liters of soda into my ~$25-to-refill tank of CO2, and haven't yet had to replenish it. Well worth it.
