I had black stain in the toilet that I was thinking to change it because I couldn't remove it. Just one day before I get the new toilet I came across this and I though I will give it a try. I dumped half of the bottle and kept it overnight. Next day, I just scraped them and they are gone. It is magical.

We live in a rural area, and our hard water has a lot of minerals, sulfur, iron. CLR is the go to in order to ensure we can get rid of the white filmy residue on showers and sinks.

Had a toilet that wouldn't complete flushes because the internals were so limed-up with deposits. Here's a tip: Turn off water at wall. Remove tank top. Flush toilet to empty tank. Scoop out remaining water in toilet bowl. Then, raise flapper valve and pour contents of container into the valve hole. Let sit for an hour or two. This lets the CLR soak the internals of the toilet and remove the deposits that you can never reach. Replace top, turn on water, and flush. You will be amazed at the power of the flush !

We have very hard water at my apartment complex. Heavy, dark calcium deposits often develop at bottom of the toilet as well as clog the flush holes under the rim. It also gets quite rusty under the rim. Flushing effectiveness is greatly reduced. To conserve water here in drought-prone California, I often don't flush for #1 every time. (I live alone.) Calcium in urine can add to the build-up at the toilet drain. I also use CLR on the shower head and faucets, where calcium deposits can negatively impact water flow. It works great. I sometimes have a difficult time finding it in my local stores but found a good two-pack deal here on Amazon from a third party seller. Shipping was super fast.
