I have the red and black 80watt OmTech laser and my water flow sensor went out. This replacement was the easiest replacement on my laser so far.Find the old sensor (inside laser, under where water inlet is - might be a little white piece with 2 wires sticking out of the top). Remove old sensor with phillips screwdriver and remove the Y split and extra tubing. Put this one in place of the other one. I cut the cord and wired directly into where the previous sensor was wired using electrical tape and heat shrink. As mentioned in another review, doesn't matter which wire goes where. This simple fix brought my laser back to life in under 40 minutes.

I have a 60W Chinese Laser that has no labels who manufactured it, so I replaced the switch with this one. Worked great. It's also a lot better manufactured switch than the original.

I have a 60W OMTech laser cutter. After a water leak, I replaced the flimsy water pressure sensor for this water flow sensor. Works better and actually measures water flow instead of pressure (that could be misleading). My laser was back in service in less than 30 minutes.

OMTECH recommends this to replace the crappy one in their laser engravers. Look at the pics...the nut side (female). It leaks...poor design. First the female barb piece has bad threads and cuts the washer--thus lead one. The nut is held by a collar that screws in--but there is no way to tighten it--lead two. You have to remove the collar and go to a hardware store and buy a barbed part to screw in. Put some teflon tape on both sides. For the money, pass and get a cheaper one since you have to buy parts anyway. Had to get my laser online, otherwise I'd have returned--still might if it leaks again.

Make sure you purchase the 10mm, they work perfectly with the tubing in the Laser machine already. My original sensor was leaking extremely bad. I don't see any way this could cause a leak in the future. Pretty simple change out and worked great (I had to remove the "Y" connector and place this sensor in line on the inlet side of the hose before it goes to the laser tube). There is no polarity so you can connect the two wires any which way. Get yourself some 13mm Spring Band Type Hose Clamps and ditch the zip ties! While you're at it change out the tubing as well with some new Silicone Tubing 8mm ID x 12mm OD.

I bought a chinese red/black machine on ebay 5 years ago. I saw water leaking out of the rear of the machine. I bought this water sensor to replace the broken one and it WORKED PEFECT. Just make sure your hoses are on snug and you use either hose clamps or zip ties. I only had zip ties and they are holding nice and strong, dry as a bone. Thanks!

Install on my 60W laser was simple enough. The one question I had, but never got answered was if the connectors and washers were included as the images says optional. Mine came with everything need to connect my water lines.A little Teflon tape and we were good to go.Only thing you might want to consider adding to your cart with this item is some 11mm spring clamps for securing the lines to the connector ends. A 10 pack on Amazon is only a few dollars more.
