I'm the type of person who dives deep into product research, often to the point of frustration. When my previous aquarium's full spectrum light stopped working, I spent considerable time searching for a suitable replacement. Seaoura kept appearing in my findings, a brand I hadn't encountered before. Taking a chance, I placed my order, and it arrived surprisingly fast. I must say, this light is impressive! It's sturdy and well-made. While I'm unsure how it would work on a rimmed tank, it fits my rimless setup perfectly—securely without risking any scratches on the glass when installed correctly. It looks great and is positioned high enough to support the indoor plants in my aquarium. The inline remote is user-friendly, making it a fantastic value for the price.

Got this today via Amazon and love it , it did have directions but easy enough to put together .I love as it as set it as bright as you can which is white with little red lights and yes super bright , it is for a 20 gallon planted .

My favorite light to date, very functional for multiple setups, design looks great and it’s very sturdy compared to other Amazon lights I have bought. However, straight out of the box I had to modify and repair the plastic cover on the tank side of the light. It was smashed in and wasn’t in the “tracks” where it should sit. Hopefully just a one off that got damaged in shipping.

Best brand for lights on Amazon. The 24/7 is just needed and better than Hygger. They are powerful so get smaller than you need. I'd rather there be too much power than weak. So happy they came out with these. Adjustable to your needs and fits over rimmed tank.

Seaoura is my go-to light for my aquariums. These are the most adjustable lights I've found in terms of brightness AND in terms of range of colors. I have this on a planted tank thats in my living room, so I wanted some chill lights for evening and this works. I actually have seaoura lights on all five of my tanks. Once you figure out programing, it's pretty easy. The 24/7 option is really nice for if you aren't going to be home a lot. This light is on a rimmed 20 L and fits on just perfectly.

Bought this for a 5 gal Marinland Nano I got for Christmas and gutted to replace with my own lights & filter. Great little product. Sturdy, well-made and very bright. The 24hr feature is really easy to set up - watch & follow the video instructions here on Amazon and you're done in less than a minute or two.Highly recommended.

I tried a couple of other light styles on my new betta tank. It's a small tank only 11 " x 11". The other lights just didn't work well, they either over hung the front.or the side and looked bulky.This little light fits just right. A little room to spare on all sides, it rest right in the middle. It also has height adjustment.Gives plenty if adjustable light on a timer, it should do my plants well.I'm very happy with this purchase and the price was just right too.

The light is very good and I love 24/7 setting.My only problem was fitting it on my rimmed tank. I had to put a piece of wood under the rim to be able to fasten the light upright.

This is the first light with a 24/7 mode that got it right (that I've tried, anyway). For example, the Hygger will start off with a reddish sunrise mode, white daylight, and end with gradually fading white light and replace it with blue for the "moonlight" mode. This isn't how actual daylight fades work; but thankfully, Seaoura understands perfectly that you have to end with a sunSET (red) before you get to the pale blue twilight. Is this essential for an aquarium ecosystem? Not really, but it's a nice aestetic that I suppose most aquarists can appreciate.I've had this Seaoura light on my little planted cube for about one week now and it's done wonders for the plants. It replaced a Lomine that was there for 6 weeks, supposedly had 10 watts and just wasn't cutting it -- the bacopas, saggitaria, and dwarf hairgrass were barely hanging on but not growing. In one week, the bacopas are about an inch taller already and the sag have been sending out runners. Love how the clean lighting also makes my flame endlers pop.The programming is easy on this model and doesn't require you to link it to a phone to start. Which is nice because it cuts down on the amount of apps overall and frees up the phone. Hey, maybe that shows my cantankerous oldie vibe, but this trend of downloading an app to your phone to simply turn on a light is ridiculous. I'm looking at you, Brite.This Seaoura light has it all -- reasonable pricing, intuitive operation, and good looks for a more modern style. It's bright enough for medium-light plants to thrive. This brand is likely going to be my next purcase for larger aquariums in my future plans.

This light was easy to assemble and does a great job on my planted cube. It’s a good value for the money.Having said that, the controls are a nightmare. The “labels” are microscopic and thereby illegible. The buttons and what they control are confusing. The written instructions aren’t much help. You have to choose between using the preset and the ability to choose the intensity of the light. I like the schedule of the 24 hour timer, but it illuminates the entire room, which seems a bit intense for my betta. The algae in her tank really liked it though so I’m fiddling with the settings again.

Perfect for my 75G turtle tank, the new tank topper I had purchased made the tank darker than before and I needed something to help brighten up her space. This light is bright, has many colour changing options, timer is great and the light can be moved in any direction to suit your tank needs. As you can see I don't have much space to put anything and this worked out better than I expected. Very easy to set up. My turtle seems to love it as well.
