The set works well. Square enough for my use and I don't use the measurements engraved into the clamps for anything but very rough reference points. As long as you do not plan to use the clamps for measuring you should be fine, just be aware that these are clamps and not precision tools...

These clamping squares are a bit longer than most by about an inch and will help with larger projects . Overall they are very solid and should not bend with even a large amount of abuse . A bit pricey but sometimes you cant afford to buy the cheap stuff .

Good quality and smooth edges. It works as expected. You can get a decent amount of torque with these.

This is a solid right-angle positioning square that I've been meaning to get for a while. It's a simple device, just a solid chunk of aluminum that lets you accurately set two sides of a cabinet, picture frame, door trim, or wooden box at perfect 90 degrees to each other. It becomes a "third hand" when you're trying to clamp, glue, and screw something together without distortion, or when you're trying finish a setup for welding or grinding. You can do inside or outside corners with this square, which has handy inch and centimeter rules to aid in positioning. It has countersunk holes that will allow you to screw the square down to a board, creating a semi-permanent jig for making picture frames (what I'm using it for). The square includes three separate placement holes for inserting the two threaded L-brackets into the stand-off eyelets. Securing the frame to the board is fast and easy, thanks to the large thumbscrews. This set works really well for smaller framing trim, and the usual 3/4-inch boards. My only real nit with this set is that it really limits you to working with items that are only up to 2 inches wide and about 7/8 inch thick. Picture frames, standard door trims, etc., can be much larger than that, so we'll be purchasing some longer threaded brackets.

This is a tough one. The square is for sure a quality made item. It is sturdy and holds the pieces firmly. However it is somewhat cumbersome. Lining up the corners, then tightening each side individually can leave room for errors. Especially if you are doing four corners. And they don't like to let go once you unscrew the knob. I unscrewed the knobs but the red holder stayed stuck on the threads (see pic 3). So for a short summary, is it quality? For sure-absolutely. Is it useful?.. Depends on the time you are willing to put into holding a corner square... I hope this was helpful.
