I ordered this chair after my coworkers started ordering their chairs from other vendors(companies). They went with the $90 chairs & the $114 chairs.All these needed was something to sit on that happened to meet the title of “ESD” or “electro static discharge”. And ESD chair is supposed to accept any static from any source & discharge it to a ground source. That’s why the chain dangles down below the chair. That way, no stray electricity is allowed to be transferred to a possibly sensitive piece of equipment you might be working on.You can accomplish this by purchasing any ESD rated stool.So several of my coworkers went the cheap route & got a $90 deal.One day a coworker came in with this stool that had a much wider sitting area & a chair backrest. I sat on his & thought “wow, the ability to lean back & relax a little after working so focused is such a huge blessing. Not to mention a back saver.”So i weighed my options. I’m only going to buy this once so why not get the best i can squeeze out of my budget.Having the adjustable backing really makes the difference when you’ve been working for a while leaning forward. It also comes in handy when you have to move the chair long distances. You get to put your hand on the backrest & allow it to glide over the flooring while you walk instead of carrying it.So i ordered my stool & it came in with a hydraulic cylinder that didn’t quite meet the measurements of what i was looking for. I contacted customer service & what was their response? They completely replaced my stool with a better part included, free of charge. Granted i provided my service against with documented proof of what i was experiencing & he(a representative of the company) wanted to make sure his customer was happy above EVERY other concern. I give his company a 5 star genuine rating from an organic buyer. Mr. Lui was my customer representative & his response time was AMAZING.I did not receive any funding for this review. I was not contacted prior to making my purchase & this review is completely honest. You can reach out to me through my amazon profile if you have any doubts!So.... if you are ready to throw down $99, i say go a little further & grab this higher quality option.
