One of my cats favorite toys is this cheetah print string that comes in a very specific toy pack. I have bought that pack 4+ times mainly for the string because she wears it out and it ends up falling apart. I'm scared for the day the toy pack becomes unavailable and I can no longer get her favorite string, so I decided to try to find some alternatives just in case. This was my first attempt at a replacement and I'd say it's a pretty good option. It's at least double the length of her cheetah print one, and I think that makes her a bit cautious. She loves to watch it and will bat at it, but also seems a bit scared. The stick is also very flexible which I am not a fan of, because when my cat grabs a hold of it and I tug to get it back the stick just bends instead of giving me a good way to pull it back. I'm also scared to leave the string out unattended because it is so long, I have a fear of my cats getting tangled in it and getting hurt. But both of them do seem to enjoy it. I don't think it's a perfect replacement for my cats cheetah print string, but it's a decent alternative.

I'm a bad reviewer in the sense that I don't do it as often as I should but I felt like I needed to review this product. We've only had it for 48 hours so I can't speak to the durability but will follow up over time. This is so worth the money. The wands are holding up really well except for the fact that when the cats wore us down after playing for an hour with these things we laid them down and the cats tried to chew up the handles because they wanted to keep playing. Not really the manufacturers fault. The wands are flexible much like a fishing pole which makes the attachments move really well. Our cats are in heaven and can't play with them enough. Even when they lay down after doing 30 minutes of somersaults they still are engaged with them. The little wormy attachments keep them mildly interested and are a nice change change of pace but they are super charged about the feathers. The tunnel at first seemed small but the cats actually appreciate the size. One of them ended up sleeping in it. I didn't think the other would get into it because its light weight and moved around easily but she has started to zoom through it. Definitely worth the value!! Again can't speak to the durability of it but if these things hold up that'll be great!! I should add one of these cats is very picky about toys and she is digging this set. A must have for cat owners!!

We purchased this for our three kittens since they seemed bored and were climbing the walls... Literally!! Amazon CAT WANDS to the rescue!!! These delightful, sturdy cat wands have collapsible poles (super cool feature for storage), come with multiple wands, interchangeable, tantalizing feathers, fuzzy worms, & soft ribbons for the kitties' enjoyment.Our kitties love these so much, they go to the closet door where we keep the box of toys and paw at it as if saying "IT'S TIME TO PLAY"!!We receive loads of laughs as the cats and kittens crouch, run, jump, twirl, flip, and chase the various array of toy designs.They become worn out after a 30 minute play session and are ready for naps... But as soon as they hear the jingle if the bells at the end.. they come running again--even if they are tired!One small issue we have to be careful of is the metal connectors that allow you to easily interchange the multiple toy heads. These flip clips, even though small, can cause injury to your pets mouth if you jerk it away to quickly once your pet had caught it in its mouth. This can cause the metal clip to take across your cat's mouth and cause potential... Injury.. if you jerk it away at the wtong time. One also would not want to flick the cat with the toy heads because of the bells that could injure them if hit roughly. This said, i would not allow small children to use them, or they may tear off the jingle Bell and try to eat it as they emulate their animal.This certainly won't keep me from allowing my cats the great enjoyment of this toy... But I'm careful to make sure others who might want to play this game with them have a light touch when flicking the ends...Again, it's all in the way you use it. You could injure yourself, another, or your animal if your get wild and crazy with the "trout fishing movements" one uses to tantalize the animal.Again... Even with the small possibly of injury... I still maintain:These are SUPER FANTASTICALLY AWESOME!!!And I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PURCHASE if YOU HAVE CATS, or dogs or other prey-loving animals, kept indoors.

The poles with the string is really the reason to get this. Our kittens love these and it's great for interactive play. Love that they have a hook on the end so you can really attach any toy you want to them. We tie the little cheap mice toys to the end by their tail for our smallest kitten since our older kitten has claimed all the feathers as his.We've had these for three months now and the string toy has broken. It was a bit awkward to play with and the pole was cheap but I imagine if you cat really liked it you could cut off the string and tie it to the other poles. The little fuzzy things were not interesting to either of our cats really but our older kitten loves the feathers and goes crazy any time we get out a new one. He will grab it and hide it away until he "kills it". The sturdier poles have lasted really well though the cats have managed to bite off the hook on one.Overall I recommend this sort of toy for any cat owner. This one in particular is a reasonable price and a pretty good starting toy kit.

My cat loves the wands and fishing pole style accessories. The toys too are pretty fun for my cat she likes the feathers and “worms”. The tube that comes with it she wouldn’t touch if her life depended on it however maybe best for kittens it’s a bit small. Good value and lots of hours of fun had so far!
