Its amazingly simple but it works amazingly. The plastic is firm and holds the position you set it to so the door doesnt open or close any. I use it to allow my cats to enter my office without having to have the door all the way open since my wife is watching tv in the other room. One of my cats is fat so I have it set to the widest setting. Its very easy to use and remove when you need to open the door. The peg should fit any door that can close. When not it use I just leave it hanging on the door handle and its not in the way at all.

I have never seen these before and thought I would try them out and they are absolutely amazing! They are nice quality, durable, and made of thick plastic. I have small round doorknobs and was worried these wouldn't fit, but luckily I was able to snap them on. They are easy to use and keeps our dog out of cat areas. Check sizing if you have round door knobs.

Keeps my roommate's dog out the room while still allowing my partner's cat in. Super easy to install and to adjust the width. It's also very sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy at all.

I am happy with this product, it is simple and works as intended. As other people have said it can be a bit tricky to get around round door knobs. I had to bend it a lot to get it to fit, but once it did I had no issues. You have to approach it with a weird angle and shimmy it around until it gets on. I could have just bought a different style that fits round door knobs though, so that's my fault. But it works as I hoped, it keeps dog out of cat spaces. One of the eyes on one of the fish did pop off when I was trying to put it on, but I didn't even realize they had eyes when I bought it so it's whatever.

At first I was skeptic due to the hard plastic(I thought they were rubber material when I purchased). Since I have rounded doorknobs I thought they may break easily too trying to fit them on and bend back. So far they seem pliable enough, its not been long yet to make a solid determination, but they work easy, I just leave them on the knob and easy to hook into. They stay in the hole tautly and have the right amount of adjustments for the size of the pet you want to keep out or in.

These things have made my life sooooo much easier. With a new puppy in the house and 4 not-thrilled cats, these things are a godsend! Keeping the dog out of certain areas while allowing the cats their freedom to room has been wonderful! They are easy to install and use. And they are so sturdy!Thank you to whoever invented these things!!

Sirve muy bien, no deja que la puerta se abra o se cierre y la puedes ajustar a la apertura que deseas. Mi perrito no pasa al cuarto de mis gatitas y ya no se come su comida.

I need to keep a door propped open just enough for my cats to slip through it to room where litter boxes are located. This door is used throughout the day by household as well. I need to keep my dog from getting in room where litter boxes are located. Anyone with a dog and cats knows why this has to be done. Used to wedge a box in door frame that dog couldn’t jump over. To go through door you had to move box every time and put it back. This simple device is adjustable and you put it around door handle and other end into the lock receptacle in door frame. Holds door open about 4-5 inches which is plenty for most cats to slip through but the door can’t be moved by a dog or other animal without removing this device on one end. I just pop the end out that goes into lock receptacle in door frame. It will just hang from door handle so you don’t have to worry about it and it’s easily placed back in a locked position. It's made from good quality, thick plastic that’s flexible without breaking. Such a simple design but ingenious. I hope who came up with this is very wealthy now because it’s deserved due to the idea.

I've been waiting to write a review because I wanted to make sure I could be honest about this product. This is my favourite purchase. We've only had them for about 3 weeks but so far it's super strong and keeps our 53 lb dog out of the litterbox and cat food (we keep all of litterboxes in closets and cat food in our office) We even have one on the bedroom door to give our cats more privacy and a break from our dog. It was hard to fit over a circular door knob but after a little bit of work, it fits perfectly. Tbh I thought it might snap as I was putting it on but it didn't even have a scratch. The plastic is thick but can bend quite a bit actually. You can adjust how far you want to prop open the door which is super convenient as well. My dog initially tried pushing the door open but after many failed attempts gave up. I couldn't be happier. If they ever DO break, I'll probably purchase again.

I had a bit of doubts ordering these but wanted to try something to keep the dogs out but cats able to pass through easily. This has been a perfect solution especially as I wasn’t too keen to cut into my doors.
