Buy this, you will be happier than you could ever imagine. My grand-daughter loves it. She uses it every day. Colorful, and very will made.

This clock is really big (composition notebook for comparison). The minute hand does move the hour hand but you can also move the hour hand too. The gears inside move too! Its made of thick particle board and comes with 2 little metal pieces to use as a stand. Seems very sturdy and durable for the price. I would purchase again IF this thing ever breaks.

I’ve used and loved this clock in my special education classrooms (elementary and middle school) for years. I just bought another one for grandkids. It is simple to manipulate and makes demonstrating times and elapsed times a breeze. When the kids are done with it, they can donate it to their school. Any primary teacher would happy to have one, or more than one!Edit: Unrelated to the product itself, mine arrived damaged, even though the shipping package was in excellen shape. There are two gouges on the face on the 4 and 5. It must have left the shipping facility like this. I wish Amazon would allow me to review the shipper on this matter because it does not reflect on the overall quality of the Judy Clock.

A must for a primary classroom or home schooling. Telling time is challenging but this large sturdy wood clock makes it easier. A wonderful gift for a classroom teacher in grades K-3.

Love this clock! It's sturdy, easy to read, great how the hands move and can be adjusted, and very good quality. I wish it was cheaper, but it was worth the price. The other ones are much cheaper and break easily.

The gears that move the hour hand as you move the minute hand are so helpful for teaching a young child about how clocks work. They can see it happening! I love, love, love this product. It feels very well made.I used it with a 4 1/2 year old and the only thing to mention is that it isn't a toy. It's a little more fragile than some of the more play type clocks. We've had 2 of these now because the kids bent the arms playing with it the first time around. We keep it up now just for teaching, because it is pretty expensive.

This clock is awesome because its hands move in tandem, as opposed to other educational clocks where each hand needs to be positioned independently. This is very helpful in aiding a young learner in understanding how the short hand moves closer to the next hour number as the minute hand progresses through the hour. The only reason I didn't give this clock a 5-star rating is because some rapscallion friend of my daughter's (the name shall go unmentioned) messed with the clock, the result of which is that that tandem movement is slightly off. It's not a big deal, but I feel that the interior construction should be a little more resistant to kids' messing, given that kids are the ones who ultimately manipulate the clock the most. In general, I love this clock, though. The little window into the moving gearbox is a great feature, too.
