I recently purchased this carbon monoxide alarm, and I’m very impressed. The digital display is super helpful for monitoring gas levels, and the sound and light alarms are loud and clear, giving me peace of mind. It was easy to install, and the fact that it’s battery-powered makes it very convenient for various settings like the bedroom, kitchen. A great addition to any home for safety! Highly recommend!

This smoke and carbon monoxide alarm is exactly what I needed for my home! This detector seems really nice to have. It's batter so far lasts a long time even with the super cheap batteries. It takes 3 AA batteries.Installation was simple. It came with deck screws and all I did was drill 2 small holes and then screw the base plate in.The alarm is loud but not as loud as my smoke detectors. Plenty loud to get your attentionBlinks green every once in a while and it's just enough to notice.

This alarm will detect carbon monoxide or smoke. It has a led lights and it is easy to read. The design makes it easy to mount. So far, it functions as well as other more expensive units.

I always read instructions - especially for anything regarding my safety. The instructions for this alarm are horrible and I am not even sure if I am doing everything correctly for installation and test. This in itself creates a safety hazard. I worked through the test, and everything worked according to what I could understand. It runs on 3 AA batteries, does have bright lights and periodic lights (green every 60 seconds) to let you know it is working. As far as it truly working, the test worked perfectly - and it looks well thought out construction-wise with test sound and warning lights.

First off, the instruction sheet is not a horrible translation as many are, but it isn't great either.It claims to be UL and CE listed according to the sticker, but my experience with a lot of Chinese companies is that they will slap that on there without any actual certifications so I don't trust it without verification. It does not come with batteries.When I installed batteries the first time it powered up and would not test according to instructions. It did finally test, but then would not go out of test mode. After I pulled the batteries after it booted up again it got stuck in that mode with the blue lights flashing and would not respond to the test button. On a third power up (it has a 2 minute boot up according to the instructions and there's a 99 countdown on the screen), the screen just stayed blank.This thing was listed at $26 at the time of ordering and took a month to get to me.For CHEAPER you can buy an actual UL certified CO/smoke alarm that comes with batteries sealed for the life of the alarm from a company you can trust. How much is your life worth. Even if it had worked properly out of the box I would not trust it without testing it against known good equipment. This piece of crap is not something you can trust with your life or your kids' lives. Even though the Vine program provides us with products to evaluate, we still have to report it as income so I resent having to pay income tax on this piece of worthless crap. This is the second life-safety alarm from a no-name Chinese company that I have evaluated that has failed miserably, and I am not a China-made product hater in general.

It does light up every 60 seconds to let you know its on. It has a pretty loud buzzer when you put it in test mode.
