The install for the product was pretty easy, basically plug and play with the included adapters. The only thing not making this 5 stars is the quality of the head unit itself. It's definitely not the smoothest experience. Functional, with a good screen that has adjustable settings to make colors better, but I will say it's a bit slow. Aside from that I noticed an improvement in sound quality compared to the original unit that came with my corolla. If you're looking for a budget apple car play solution and don't mind a bit of lag, this is definitely a functional product.

This is my 2nd unit. Had to return the first due to multiple broken clips and cracks in the casing around vents. Both units had some real trouble connecting Apple CarPlay wireless. After a couple months the second unit just completely black screened and put out a constant noise from speakers. Pulled out and disconnected to not have to listen to the constant speaker feedback and going with another option. Maybe just 2 duds? Idk. But I wouldn’t recommend this product. Also all my connections were sound. I am a skilled tradesman and do lots of electrical work regularly.

Installed it myself as a 20 year old girl, took me about an hour. My car seemed to get louder after installing. I have a 2010 corolla, my wheel buttons work fine and you are able to change the functions if you’d like. My car also didn’t have the heating adjustments so the space is empty. I didn’t put in the backup camera so I can’t say much about it. CarPlay is delayed with the audio. I’ll skip a song and it’s delayed on my car by a couple of seconds but not too bad.

Received a return item as the packaging was opened and finger prints all over the camera. I Installed this in a 2011 Toyota Corolla. The top of the dash doesn’t fit flush and the AC vents don’t snap in perfectly either. I installed it on a hot day, so I decided to just keep it as is since I didn’t want to go through the hassle of uninstalling and repacking for a return. The radio itself is a bit slow. The gps app loads very VERY slow. The CarPlay works sometimes. I have to unplug my usb to my phone a couple times to get it to connect. When it does connect, it works fine. Sound quality is good. I think this product should be priced under $100 to be honest for the quality.
