I screwed up with this purchase. Wanted a saute pan but this one is far too large. Kept it anyway.

I bought this as my other Calphalon pan like this was peeling of it's no-stick. The pan is really nice and nice and big and I love the straight up edge instead of the normal curved up edge, if that makes sense. The only thing is, I thought this was going to be a bit thicker. For the price I thought it would be a bit thicker to stand up to heat better as the bottom is already wrapping out. For a brand new pan and the name Calphalon, this should not be wrapping already, so it rocks back and forth on the burner, that drives me crazy. But the time to return it has come and gone now I have to deal with a rocking pan.

We bought this larger pan to augment our older Calphalon set. On sale, these pans are an excellent value and retain the non-stick performance with minimal care. The older set is five plus years old and the newer pan has same qualities for heat retention and even cooking. Use silicone or wooden utensils, don't throw dishes or metal items on it in the sink, and use paper towels between items when stacking for storage--these pans will last with no scratching, or discoloration.

This pan is adequate. Has good non-stick. It's not as thick/heavy as I was expecting. Lid is slightly loose.

Heavy frying pan that is nonstick. Completely flat came with the lid. Highly recommended. Great price for the size and nice and deep.

Love this pan. Was listed as out of stock on the calphalon website but was able to get it from Amazon two days later. Huge cooking capacity at a reasonable price. So far has held up well with almost daily use.

Solid pan. With lid it's fairly hefty but the looped handle opposite the regular handle makes it easy to lift. Bottom is very flat for use on a smooth electric cooktop. Holds heat well and heats evenly. Good seal from the hefty glass lid (glass lid is great) and cleans up easily.
