The hole for drilling doesn't allow for countersinking the hole so you'd have to drill the hole, take off the clamp, countersink the hole, then put the clamp back on. And if you use cabinet screws with built in washer, the screw head is too big to go through the hole on the clamp. I'll be sending back. If you don't want to countersink hole and use regular screw it may work for you.

Great quality and functionality as always with Kreg tools. Price is comparable to other sellers. Has great instructions but is very easy to use.Note: this won’t work for installing face frame filler.

I ordered these clamps to aid with installing some cabinets. They really helped and seem to be accurate. Also well made with a good finish. I am happy with this product.

I am a Contractor and Business Owner and I have learned over the years that “you can NOT have TOO MANY Clamps” at any point in life. I have used generic clamps like these through the years and they work fine but I also have several Kreg Tools. Here’s the thing, the Kreg stuff comes at a slight premium compared to “generic” stuff but the fit and finish, as well as little touches make the slight increase in price really worth it. These have a fantastic fit and finish and they are captured…meaning they will not fall apart into pieces when you back the thread all the way out. The paint finish is spot on and certainly recognizable as a Kreg tool. No defects anywhere on either clamp and they came really well packaged. They also include felt pads to protect the cabinets being worked on from being marred up and the sticky backs, actually stick and stay put once installed on the clamps. I do have one clamp that the threading isn’t perfectly smooth through the entire distance of travel but I’m betting that there is either some manufacturing goo, a chip or a little paint in there and it will work itself out with use.I have a kitchen remodel on the calendar and 3 bath renos coming up and these are going to be a welcomed addition to my tool arsenal. Even the pilot hole jig swivels SMOOTHLY out of the way in order to get a screw in.Overall, these are super nice and they are worth it in my opinion. I tend to “buy once and cry once” with tooling as I have learned over the years that you get what you pay for. These are recommended and I am very happy with how they are built and how they function. A+++ face clamps right here!

This is a nice set of clamps.They're used to keep cabinets aligned as you fasten them together with screws. It seems like a regular clamp could do the job and I've done it that way in the past. It's a pain to get everything aligned and held in place. Any mistake and you have to start over and fill the old holes.These little clamps hold both dimensions of the cabinets together firmly so there is no chance you'll make a mistake. This is one area where it's really important to make sure things are really aligned. Any mistake and the cabinets look sloppy.It's a very specialized clamp and it works wonders. If I were doing only a single kitchen, I'd use these clamps. Mine were missing the little rubber pads so I called Kreg and a real person in Des Moines, Iowa answered the phone and sent me the missing part. It came about 4 days later. I like human customer service.I recommend them.
