I got this to straighten out books that my 4 year old constantly messes up. It's super simple and intuitive. You just put the book in and tighten the wing nuts evenly untill the book is sufficiently tight. Leave it in there overnight or so, and all of the bent pages will be straightened out. It works like a charm. Assembly is pretty easy. If you follow the pictures you'll be able to do it no problem. Nice tool to have on hand.

★★★★★This book press is fantastic! It’s sturdy, easy to use, and applies even pressure for perfect results every time. Whether you’re pressing book covers, flattening pages, or working on other craft projects, it does the job flawlessly. The build quality is excellent, and it feels like it will last for years. Highly recommend for bookbinding and restoration enthusiasts!

Strong and sturdy, can press book tight and even. Easy to use, no need too much effort. Wood is smooth, no rough edge, feel nice to touch. Perfect for bookbinding or flatten paper. Looks simple but work very well.

We were getting into bookmaking and was looking at a last minute book binding kit that we could use multiple times. This was the perfect product as it was quite easy to use and simple to work. It was not complicated at all to use and figure out and we had great luck creating our first book. This is one of the best kits for starters to begin testing their first few books that won't break

One of the hex nuts was mismatched and couldn't be screwed on, making it impossible for me to assemble the press properly with the provided materials. Didn't feel like returning it and waiting an age to get a complete version shipped, so I just purchased the missing part from a local department store. For anyone experiencing the same issue, the nuts and bolts are size M8. One star because I expected a complete product.

I so far have not had any problems with this, but you have to make sure to not go beyond the quality. I have made sure to not press anything too big that might cause the wood to crack, as it isn't a heavy, solid, wood used for the ends of the press. It works, but know the limits of what you buy. So far, I have not felt like I am pushing the press limits yet with my smaller books.

I was suprised at how nice this was when it arrived. It came in a beautiful box, which is nice if you are giving it as a gift and the wood is large and heavy. Very good quality. I love binding fan fiction and so far this is working seamlessly

This book press is great for small personal projects. I believe the listing mentions a recipe book, and now that I've seen that, it may well be my next project. That would be a great winter hobby and a family recipe book would be a nice gift for family members during the holidays or at reunions. So far, I've used mine to restore a couple of beloved books and to bind a photo album, which turned out very well. I would stick to smallish books because I don't think this is intended for large or heavy books. That said, I think it's a good deal for the money, and I like the possibilities.
