Pairing to the phone has no issues. However, it can only control the phone volume but not the head unit volume. Same applies to the channel button.

I bought this because, as a truck driver, I wanted something that would allow me to easily change or pause whatever I was listening to. It fit the bill very well, 10/10 for that (except holding the play button for Siri makes the phone go to the Home Screen which I don't like, no idea if that's iOS or poor programming on their part).The thing that keeps the button oriented and locked in started to fail though. I quit being a truck driver before it failed completely but it was only like 2 months before I noticed that it wasn't being held snuggly in the enclosure and it would fall out when I was turning the wheel and my hand would brush it.It comes with a sort of adhesive round which I suppose is supposed to fix this but I don't think that's the most elegant design. 4/5 stars. -1 because of the flimsy securement but I can't say for sure if it should be higher or lower because I never used their adhesive round thing (I quit before I got too tired of it falling out and actually tried that).

Great when it works, but unfortunately, battery barely lasts a week, even if not in use; And to change the battery, you have to remove four screws!

Amazing little gadget! Works perfectly for controlling music while driving or biking. Easy to set up, waterproof, and the adjustable direction is a nice touch.

I wish I had discovered this product many years ago. This is perfect for when I listen to music or podcasts while Im on my bike and I need to either change volume or rewind. The buttons are big enough and each button presses has a "clicking" feedback which is quite nice. Even with winter gloves on, I could still use it well enough.

I have a 2006 Jeep Cherokee, and since it just has a basic radio and no phone connectivity other than an aux port, it doesn't have any buttons that interfaces with phones. I bought this so I can skip and play/pause music when I wanted to, and it feels pretty solid and does exactly what I need it to without issue. I will say though, that the band to secure the remote holder was just barely large enough to wrap around the steering wheel, but YMMV. But other than that, it's pretty frickin' good.

I needed an easy way to activate Siri for use with a portable CarPlay adapter. Out of several brands I tried, this is the only one that actually worked for Siri. Long press of the center button does it! It pairs pretty easily as well. The one down side is that because it's battery powered, it automatically powers off after 15 minutes of non-use. Then you need to press any button to get it to power back up, and then wait 15 - 20 seconds for a Bluetooth connection to be re-established with your phone.The steering while strap mount sort of sucks, but that's the same problem with every other brand as well. And really, mounting it on the rim of the steering wheel is a bad idea. I designed and 3d printed a mount for it and stuck on the center console next to the shifter. You could just as easily velcro or sticky tape it somewhere too.

This unit would not control my stereo volume. It controls via your phone but my phone does not control the stereo volume

Correa demasiado corta, en mi carro tengo que subir todo el volumen desde el estereo para luego ir bajando y cuando quiera poder subirle a mi agrado, si no no le permite subir volumen, se siente de baja calidad pero muy funcional y fácil conectividad, no tengo mucho con él aun no checo lo de camara selfie ni lo de la bateria que dicen dura poco, se cae bastante la rueda si no tiene el pegamento con el que viene.

It gets the job done right out of the box. I connected to my phone with not issues. I can control my Spotify app for music and answer a phone call. Hang up the call is buggy and battery life isn't awesome if you drive alot. For the price, it's hard to complain.
