This is a very good basic counter oven. It has baked and roasted well. I love the size, big enough bake a cake or 2 loaves of bread, a tray of veggies. The rack has a stop so it doesn’t pull out by accident. Nice! It is a little noisy, and not well insulated. I’d love if it was well insulated enough to not be hot on the top and sides (would also save more energy and $). This is why 4, not 5, stars. I’m so glad I didn’t buy a different expensive oven.

This oven allows you to use a large muffin pan and longer casserole dishes, great for cooking a whole dressed chicken.

Bought a toaster oven in April that turned out to be a lemon. Thankfully got a refund under warranty. Then the search was on for a different one. Finally settled on this oversized Black and Decker one. We have fondly named her Big Momma. So far she has not disappointed. We use the oven everyday and often multiple times a day. It is easier than heating up the stove. After the initial smell passed, it has baked, broiled and toasted including items for Thanksgiving dinner. I love the extra space for 2 trays or a 9x13. We fit two small casserole dishes in there for Thanksgiving. It bakes well, a little faster than the recommended times, but I know to adjust. I'm still trying to gauge the right time for toasting, but we don't do that as often. I'm very happy with it an relieved to not have things burning and a working timer after our last toaster oven disaster. The price was right on sale and I'm glad I picked this one.

Ha funcionado eficientemente hasta la fecha. Reduce el tiempo de horneado de pan y asado de carnes, aumentando así el ahorro en el consumo de energía. Además, el espacio interior es bastante amplio.

This product works on a 110V AC source . Amazon is supplying it with a local step down transformer from 230V to 110V to make it suitable for Indian conditions . The transformer supplied is not working . I made a complaint to Black & Decker who sent a technician and he rectified the transformer on his second visit . Within the first use , the main MCB tripped indicating overload or short circuit in the transformer . Black & Decker refuses to service / replace the transformer saying it’s not their product . It’s just been a month since delivery and issue isn’t getting resolved . Will Amazon come forward to sort out the mess ?

A lot of good things about it, but toaster doesn't work well at all. Bread gets hard n crisp, but no browning at all until so hard that you can't eat it. Yep my settings rechecked and accurate. It has no indication to show or sound, that oven has reached set temp. A bit annoying, but otherwise a good and very roomy toaster oven.

I've had this toaster oven for about a month now and, after doing some scavenger hunting on the internet for instructions and a little trial and error, I think it's going to pretty much replace my regular gas oven.Let me save you a little frustration as to the lack of instructions, especially pertaining to the convection feature. If you select the "Bake" setting, the convection feature is activated. There is no way to turn it off, which is actually fine. What I have discovered is, if I'm baking baked goods (cookies, muffins, etc) you need to decrease the baking temperature by 25 degrees or reduce the baking time by about 25 %, or both. If you reduce the temp, start checking for doneness about 3/4 of the way through the baking process. If I'm baking a casserole, which contains more liquids or the like('cream of' soups, eggs, cheese, etc) I use the recommended temperature in the recipe and let it cook the full amount of time. I made a tuna noodle casserole last week and it was perfect using the recipe exactly as written.I haven't used the broil feature for meat yet, so I don't have a point of reference for that feature and, as I'm single and just make toast in a regular 2 slice toaster, I also don't have a review for the toast feature (I don't need 8 slices of toast at once.)What I LOVE about this oven is being able to use my regular pans! I had a smaller toaster oven before and got frustrated by having to buy special pans for it. I ended up buying a lot of disposable aluminum pans. With this oven, I can use all of my regular pans (I have several Pampered Chef ones that I wasn't able to use in the old toaster oven) except for a couple of my larger baking stones. So far, everything has baked so much more evenly than in my full sized gas oven that I'm absolutely thrilled. So, as far as the way the oven functions and the results I've had when cooking with it, I am very satisfied with this oven. The only negative comment that I have about it is that the instructions are almost non-existent. An individual shouldn't have to do 2 hours of research online and watch youtube videos to learn how to properly use this product. They really need to include an actual instruction manual, with a few recipes included for each feature of the oven, instead of a big sheet of pitiful basic instructions that are written in about a dozen different languages. I think that most of the negative reviews that I've seen could have been avoided if this were the case. Does the outside of the oven get hot? Yes, it's a toaster oven, not an insulated range, so move it away from the wall. The crumb tray slides into the slots underneath the OUTSIDE of the oven, it doesn't go inside and I believe this is the reason that so many people are saying it never gets hot enough. The convection feature comes on and stays on when baking, there's no way to shut it off. All of this could should be explained in an actual instruction manual. My last comment pertains to the price. At $67 in November, this oven was a great value. Less than a month later, it's $96!!!! Had it been this price originally, I'm not sure I would have purchased it.So, my review is A for the the oven itself, D for the lack of instructions and the $30 price hike just before Christmas.

*****8/2/2018 Update - I have not had any problems with this toaster oven and my family and I have used it daily for the past year. I gladly stand by my review and would/will buy another one in a heartbeat.*****There are tons of reviews on this thing already so I will get straight to the point by answering the questions that still lingered in my brain when considering this toaster oven after reading all of the reviews.Does it fit a 9x13 casserole dish with handles? Heck yeah…and then some. We are cooking dishes in our toaster oven that feed a family of 5. We have owned this for a week now and have not turned on our full size oven yet. Seriously. We may miss a full oven around the holidays, but 363 days a year we will probably wonder why we have a full oven taking up so much space. We have joked about getting another one for when we need “double ovens”. At $50….why not?Is it worth the money and if so, why is it so cheap? Yes, it is worth the money. If you have experienced the build quality of say a Breville toaster oven, you will know why it is $50 instead of $300. Does it still look nice and feel like it will last for years? Absolutely. Can it make toast, and if so, is it as slow as everyone says? Yes, it makes beautiful toast. Is it slow? I haven’t drag raced it against my toaster-toaster yet, probably should, but it doesn’t feel slower. Couple that with the fact that I can make 8 pieces of toast at once for my growing family…I would say that it is much, much faster overall.Does it get as hot on the outside as others say? Oh, heck yeah. There are warnings all over the place and they aren’t kidding. I clocked the top at 160F when heated to 450F inside. Remember though, you are cooking a full 9x13 pan of lasagna in this thing so just give it a little room to work. It preheats faster and runs cooler than your full oven, it’s just not as well insulated at $50.Is it noisy? My kids can be noisy. My lawnmower is noisy. This thing is just circulating warm air…making me dinner. If this is noisy, you are spending too much time alone. Is there only 1 rack? Yes. Why? Because if you have 2 racks, people will put toast on both racks and then the bottoms of the top rack and the tops of the bottom rack will not get toasted, and they will complain. A lot of people are placing the crumb tray in the wrong spot (which is very, very easy to do) then complaining that it doesn’t bake/toast properly. This is why there is 1 rack.In summary, this thing is worth every penny, and in fact, once you buy it and use it with your adult size dishes, you will probably wonder why they aren’t charging more for it.
