Like the extra weight/thickness.

Ditched my regular safety harness strap for this flipline. Should have done it a long time ago. Super easy to use-- length adjustments off the ground are quick, safe and easy. I thought I wanted a 10 footer, but bought a 12 footer and glad i did. Recommend going 2 feet longer than you think you need.

The price is reasonable. I feel very secure with this flip line. All components are heavy duty.

Figure out the Grab Adjustment real well before you climb anything. I am going from a old school non adjustable line to this style and it is a transition for sure. I do love it though and wish I would of used one of these when I first started climbing 10 years ago. Like any new equipment, know it before you climb it. Be safe.

Way better than I need for tree work around the house home. I bought the ProClimb Better Grab Steel Core Flipline Kit (5/8 inch x 10 feet). 8 feet 1/2 would have been a better choice for me.

I bought the 5/8” diameter better grab 16’ long flipline lanyard to use while trimming a 50+ year old maple tree in my backyard, and I’m 100% satisfied. 16 feet is a good length. It’s not too long for what I’m doing. I picked the 5/8” diameter because I figured thicker is better when it comes to safety. The better grab rope grabbing mechanism is easy to use; I can find and use it while wearing thick leather gloves in the dark.I plan to get a second lanyard so I can quickly move around in the tree and never be unprotected.

I’m not an arborist. I am an ironworker. Top notch trade gear is not always essential for occasional or DIY use. However when it comes to your flip line and harness you’d be a fool not to consider this one. Pros say they get one year out this flip line. I used it once, saved me several thousands of dollars and returned me safely to the ground. It was a pleasure to use and made me confident I could complete the project. I recommend it.
