This type of pillow functions exactly as we needed. Priced fairly. No smell at all. The length fits our king bed exactly. You simply lie it at the heads of the bed. We have a shelf behind our bed that leaves a gap between it and the top of the mattress. This wedge covers that gap nicely. If I have any complaint, it would be that the corner of the cover doesn't fit exactly at the corner of the foam, even though it's been out of the shrink wrap for two days.

I ordered this wedge pillow because I was tired of constantly searching for the remote controls only to find them under the bed. They tended to work their way up to the wall and fall between the mattress and the wall. I am happy to say that for the past few weeks, I have been able to find the remotes without moving the mattress.The cover is made of durable material and zips off so you can throw it in the wash. The foam is sturdy yet comfortable. Would definitely recommend the wedge pillow for anyone that watches TV in bed.

So this headboard wedge came in a small package and I was super concerned, but once you opened it up, it poofed out and was exactly as my mind thought it should be. Now - whatever you do - follow the directions because I'm a ding-dong and put the wedge in the headboard space upside down and it kept scooting behind the mattress. I went back and realized I had it upside down - ha! Now that it's fixed, it's working like a champ. FYI: it's very soft.

I've wanted one of these for a while. We don't currently have a headboard on our king bed, so the mattress doesn't really sit right at the wall, and my pillow would fall into the gap unless I stuffed something else in there. This solves that problem. It stays in place. It's a fairly small slope, but it's enough that if you put your pillow on it it lifts you up enough for reading or watching TV.

I needed this for my king sized bed that sits against a wall. It does close the gap, and I really want to love it more but the slope away from the wall is really long, so at night my pillow creeps up the slope and i end up sleeping with my neck weirdly kinked. If you feel like this wouldn't happen with your setup or with your pillows than this might be perfect for you. Its soft but holds its shape, it has a nice removable cover and the quality feels great. Its just the wrong shape for what I was hoping for.

That gap between the mattress and headboard is so irritating, and ends up just being a canyon for pillows to fall in. Trying to sit up against the headboard to read ends up an exercise in frustration because of it.This wedge pillow bridges the gap! I got the king-sized, and it covers the full width of the mattress. It arrives vacuum-sealed and wrapped into a tight cinnamon-roll shape. Once you battle through all the layers of wrapping (it is SEALED), the pillow plumps itself up to the right shape. There are no weird dents where parts of it didn't fluff up enough. The zip-off quilted cover means you can keep the inner pillow clean longer, which is always good. I didn't notice any particular scent, which is *excellent*, as I can be pretty sensitive to that.There are a couple of different ways to use the wedge. Initially I thought I would be putting it so that the entire thing was in the canyon, and the short flat side would basically make a mattress extension. I thought it looked more stable. That idea lasted until I temporarily plunked the wedge up against the headboard, and it completely covered over the gap, and provided a nice little slope transition from headboard to mattress. I'm converted.Now I can comfortably prop myself up against my headboard, with no more lost pillows. I am tickled to death about it. Wish I'd gotten this sooner! I intend to get another one for my guest room.The price on this one is pretty comparable to others, so it's really down to fine details to determine if this will work for you. Definitely pay attention to the measurements rather than the photos of the product, as those are obviously digitally manipulated. The side pocket is not something I care about or even checked, as I don't need it & won't use it, but if you want it, other reviews seem to indicate its placement is lower than expected.

I have a much larger fiber fills wedge pillow. When I received this wedge pillow, I thought this pillow is too small. Many people would benefit from wedge pillows, as the blood flows best when the head is above the torso. Without a wedge pillow, during sleep, the head may rest below the torso. If one has pins and needles in their hands or feet upon waking, they may benefit from a wedge pillow. A standard pillow can lift the head above the torso, but may bend the neck in an unnatural position. Bending the neck for prolonged periods of time during sleep can cause the neck to cramp upon waking. With a wedge pillow, the angle starts at the torso so the head gets raised without kinking the neck.It turns out that I am enjoying this wedge pillow even though it is quite small, yet true to width as this wedge pillow fits a king-size bed. The pillow even hangs over the edges of the bed a little. The cover is polyester, which slightly concerned me, as I am uncomfortable sticking my head into a polyester pillow cover. Yet the small size of this wedge means I use another pillow on top of this wedge to get the angle right. By placing a standard pillow on top of this wedge pillow, I get to sleep comfortably on this wedge pillow.Overall, most people buy this wedge pillow as a gap filler, and this wedge pillow works just fine as a small gap filler. Yet the major benefits of a wedge pillow is to lift one’s head above the torso so a person can wake up feeling refreshed. This wedge pillow is on the smaller side but still accomplishes the main task pretty well after placing another pillow on top of this wedge pillow.
