The display case arrived on time. I really wished I thought more about this case. It's expensive and it only displays one light color. I decided to keep it since I already put it together. It wasn't easy for me to put together at first.

This is an awesome display case. It shipped nicely and arrived looking great. It is easy to assemble, and the light in the base is awesome! The acrylic is nice and crisp and clear, and this is a great case to display a basketball or anything else around that size that you'd like to use it for! It would be great for a coach's gift, or a school athlete at the end of the grade/season! It is a really, really cool display case and I recommend it.

OMG! My grandson loved this case along with the sentimental words inscibed on the basketball for which it was purchased! Very easy to assemble, and I was proud of myself!

This lighted display case would've been PERFECT if it came with a physical click switch to turn the light on and off instead of a touch sensor button. With a physical switch I could've hooked it up to a smart plug and have Alexa turn it on and off with a command or programmed timer. The touch sensor button does not have "memory" when you turn it off by cutting the power, it does not remember the "on" position. You have to physically touch the sensor again to turn it on every time.Overall the case was easy to build. The paper film on both sides of all the acrylic sheets is a PITA to peel off. It literally took about 20 minutes to peel all the paper film off and clean any little dots of glue residue. I kept on thinking in my head, it's freakin 2025, there's no better way to do this? The plastic piece with the hole in it had plastic film that came off in one piece. The other 5 sheets of acrylic had the paper film. Seriously? When putting the frame together, the brackets go on the inside. The pins are inserted from the outside in. If you pay attention to this one little detail, all the holes lined up perfectly. Push the pins in hard until you hear and feel a tactile CLICK. Aside from the stupid paper film, it was a super easy build. The glue is optional. Not sure why it's even included. The glue is 100% not needed.

I got this for my son who loves the anime world and loves to display his little toys and this was a nice addition for them to be safe from his younger siblings and for him to have a better image of them. He loves the size and the ease of opening and closing it. It would also fit a ball perfectly if that's the intent and the lighting that is included is very strong and it is a very sturdy and durable case.

This is such a disappointment. Missing pieces, glue is completely dried out, & no cleaning cloth. Even if I wasn’t missing pcs the holes don’t match up to add the connector pieces. Save your money.

Is this only for basketballs? No! And I'm thrilled it's more versatile than that.I've been looking for display boxes for my rocks and crystals. I tried one that was super-difficult to assemble and then a bit disappointing, so I widened my search to include display cases that were marketed toward collectors of other things. Like sports balls.Regardless of what you end up displaying in it, there are a few things I learned that you might want to know if you are considering buying one of these yourself.1. There is a hole cut into the bottom piece of plexi. The hole is about 2.33" in diameter and the depth from the top of the plexi to the surface of the base below is about .5".2. The brown paper that's adhered to the plexi for protection during shipping, needs to come off. And it's one of the more difficult ones I've encountered. I found that if I very carefully scratched through the paper with a pin, I could get enough of it up to begin pulling it off. Having fingernails really helped. Be very careful, though. as anything sharp can leave scratches in the plexi!3. Assembly is a bit fiddly. There is a bag with SMALL plastic pins and little plastic corner brackets. The pins have little retaining features that will hold the pin in place once you've pushed it far enough through the holes. They make a soft click when they pop into place.4. Sorting out which holes in the pieces of plexi matched up and with what corner bracket took me a minute. But there is a photo in the instruction manual that I found really helpful. Notice how far the holes are from the edges of the plexi and match them up accordingly. So, why only 4 stars? Those little plastic pins. I put the plexi case on the base and took it off again a few times. I felt like I needed to be very careful and that I could feel the little plastic pins bending a bit. I would say be careful with this display case. It might not do well with frequent or rough handling.
