Bought this in hopes of keeping my awning dry and free of mildew - no such luck. I figured there'd be a little moisture, but when I took the cover off after a month in storage, the awning was just as wet as if I hadn't used it. Don't waste your money if your intent is to keep your awning dry.

When I was installing these I wondered about moisture getting in under them and then not being able to dry, leading to mold. Sure enough, after a couple of months being installed I took them off and the entire 17ft awning was wet underneath the cover. They do a great job of protecting the awning from sunlight, but the capillary action of the tubes draw in water and then doesn't let it dry out. I have mold now on the awning. I'll keep looking for a product that protects both against the sun and rain.

Had to buy 20' for 17' awning. No cutting required, they overlapped nicely. Now we wait to see how they weather over in Minnesota.

Spent over $700 for a new awning this year and thought this would a great way to keep it clean and dry,easy to install but you do need a ladder with you, put it on for 150 mile trip home and it never moved an inch, so far so good!

Holds securely in place. I was a little concerned how well it would do going down the road. With the travel clips in place it did the job beautifully. Great awning protection.

This does the job. easy to install and remove and when used with the transport clips WONT move. I love it
