About this item

  • [2-in-1 Car Speakerphone & FM Transmitter] The Roadtrip functions as a handsfree Bluetooth car speakerphone for taking calls with your smartphone with the ability of Siri Assistant to make calls, send texts or get driving directions. Secondly, use the Roadtrip as a FM transmitter to send call audio or music to your car stereo system by setting up a vacant FM channel.
  • [Crystal Clear Calls] The powerful 3-watt dual speakers enable you to always hear your conversations clearly and the built-in dual microphone with noise reduction technology provides the ultimate call clarity for both call and caller – whether you are dealing with freeway or traffic noises.
  • [HiFi Sound Quality] Despite its compact design, the Roadtrip is packed with two internal 3-watt speakers. Unlike other Bluetooth car speakers on the market, the powerful dual 3W multimedia speakers provide high fidelity sharp sound quality and louder call volume so you can hear voice from a phone call over ambient background noise.
  • [Auto Power On / Off] For your ultimate convenience, when you leave the car and your Bluetooth device disconnects from the Roadtrip, it is designed to automatically power off. Upon returning to your car, the Roadtrip’s built-in motion sensor will detect your presence, power on, and automatically connect to your device as you open the door.
  • [Multi-point Connection] Connect two phones in the same car to the Roadtrip and have the option to take phone calls from either. So whichever phone receives the latest incoming phone call, you will be able to answer that call by using the Roadtrip speakerphone. It also allows you to connect two phones so you can use the FM transmitter and stream two different music playlists through your car speakers.

I have had several speakers for work over the last 5 or so years and this one is the best. The charge will last between 2 and 3 weeks and very easy to setup and the voice has a British accent.

I can now 'bluetooth' my phone through the car speakers of my 2005 truck. I hated wearing earbuds because you could not hear well out of them with the road noice.

If you don't have Bluetooth in your car, then this speaker has everything for you. Handsfree calling, speaker, radio.. it has it all. Setup was super simple and didn't take but 2 minutes. Easy fit under the visor. USB C charge for a fast charge. Comes with a charger and cable. Sound quality is alright but when you have no Bluetooth in your car, you can't complain. Actually, you cannot go wrong with this speaker.

To answer the unanswered questions, here's my little list:1.) Weight and size are not an issue, it's even smaller than I'd assumed it'd be after shrinking my expectations, and even with the GM vans' notoriously sensitive and unreliable sun visors, there was absolutely no hang even despite the fairly dense feeling.2.) The dial will always control the frequency when in FM mode, volume is always controlled through the car and the transmitter is plenty powerful- hiss be gone.3.) Whilst there is a play/pause feature, skip track is done via your device.4.) The battery 'll most likely get you through a work week- maybe a full week- of commutes, potentially more with lighter use. If you're planning on more consistent driving, budget for a charge every one to three days.5.) The clip seems like it'd last when used on at-most 1" to 1 1/4" thick surfaces.6.) The display does turn off when not actively being used.7.) Double-clicking the dial consistently redials your most recent call on my phone.8.) Using multiple devices is fairly seamless, though streams have a hard time picking which to use if multiple devices are playing at once.9.) Whilst built well and making good use of it's materials, definitely plan on a future replacement if you intend to use it on outdoor/off-road equipment or in commercial environments.10.) The USB connection is charging only, so11.) Whilst charging, the Roadtrip is usable.

Have used a few hands free devices in the past but this one is by far the best I have ever had, very good battery last a week easily and I use this quite often, nice and loud speakers, connects by itself throughout the day enter/leaving my car, connects quickly to both my own personnel phone and work phone.

Arrived on time and well packaged, thanks Amazon.Purchased for use in my older 2012 Grand Caravan that has no Bluetooth connection and didn't want cables all over the place plugged into the auxiliary port, also wanted to be able to listen to the radio and still talk on the phone. This device fits the bill perfectly because of the built-in dual speakers. It was very easy to install after the initial charge and connected seamlessly with Google assistant. I can now just push the volume button to activate the assistant and say what I would like to do like phone a person, text a person, read text messages, listen to the news and find a driving route for any destination, without having to touch the phone. I had to set my Pixel 8 to keep unlocked while connected to the Avantree Roadtrip (extended unlock in settings) and give the Roadtrip access to Google Assistant, but once I did that it works flawlessly. The battery life is also very impressive too, I have had a few weeks and it's still showing fully charged. This is a great way to stay legal and still use your phone in Canada. I also like the automatic power of when I leave the vehicle and power on when I get back in. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable hands free set up in older (non Bluetooth vehicles. Five thumbs up from me 👍👍👍👍👍

Not all vehicles have hands-free calling available and this device is great for that. I got this as a Christmas gift for my grandson and will have to get more information from him about the product. But I used to have one of these. They are nice to have. You can make hands-free calls, find an empty FM channel to connect to and use the speakers in your vehicle. Listen to your music or radio apps on your phone through the vehicle speakers. All you need to do, is connect the Bluetooth to your phone. Cool device, if you don’t have hands free calling available in your vehicle, this is what to get.

Practically perfect in almost every way. I was urged to try this little goodie by an online community that is rarely wrong about such things. I needed a Bluetooth FM adapter that automatically connected to my phone when I got in the car. Seems pretty simple, right? Well not so much since everyone mostly makes the same cheap junk.Along comes the Roadtrip. It is simple and intuitive to set up. The phone is easy and the interface is dead simple. The only problem I had was an annoying RF interference that kind of ruined the experience for me when using it on FM. The hiss comes and goes as you are driving along and is just as annoying as all outdoors when you just want to listen to some music and relax on the way in to work. Thing is, it only hisses when nothing is plugged in to the USB port. That's weird, but it's a thing. So I keep a piece of an old cord plugged in when I'm not charging it and it magically gets very quiet. I can't explain it any better. If you're having trouble, try it.

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich skeptisch war. Ziemlich skeptisch.

Neat unit that seems to function well EXCEPT the power cord is too short. The cord is taunt from the unit mounted on the visor to the cigarette lighter power adapter. There is not enough slack to rotate the visor to the side let alone conceal it under the moulding. After a couple days use, I revised the review and lowered it to a 2-star rating. Not only was the cord provided too short, but this design does not lend itself to being installed on the visor even with a longer cord. If you lower or swing the visor away, the microphone is now facing the windshield or window and cannot properly pick up your voice. This thing is horribly unreliable as far as automatically pairing with my iPhone. Half the time it pairs the other half of the time it does not. When it does not automatically, I have to go through the fiddling process of rebooting devices and repairing. Naturally, this is annoying when I just want to get in my car and go.The transmitted volume to the FM radio is low volume. To hear the call or streaming music, the car radio must be cranked to its loudest. Switching to a local broadcast without turning the radio on is deafening. The thing is better than nothing, but not much better.Revised after three months: the transmitter to send the audio to the truck’s radio failed. Well, at this point it is off to the landfill.
