Very good quality easy to use. Performance is perfect. Appearance not two big. Very accurate so sound quality great. Money well it could pay for its self over time as service your own decks. Thank you. Also will add you need 2x triple A batteries and glad of that because a lot of stuff needs button batteries and most leak.So happy I can put decent batteries inside too.

値段がべらぼうに高い。この機能でこの値段ですか?加えて電池も添付されていない。オーディオファンを舐めるなと言いたいです。以上です。

For the price, the strobe lines ought to be printed properly on the metal disc. They aren’t centered, so when attempting to calibrate my turntable, the lines dance around. Not acceptable for the money. It’s going back.

Great product, to be expected from a great company like Audio Technica. Easy way to check turntable speed.

Probably like most serious turntable hobbyists, I've tried a number of devices and techniques over the years to determine whether my machines are running at the perfect speeds. This is my current favorite because 1) The strobe disc is small, the size of an LP label, so you can track the speed while the record is playing; 2) Being able to track speed while the LP is playing allows you to compensate for stylus drag; 3) If you want to (depending on your platter/mat), you can just leave it on your platter all the time to check speed quickly in-between sides; 4) The strobe light itself is small, clearly-marked, and easy to use; and 5) Audio-Technica is a brand I trust and this product is no exception. I have other strobe tools in the house, but I have two of these (one for the main system and one for the office system) because I feel like this is just the most ideal solution to speed tracking that I've come across to date. Simple and effective.

Works exactly as you would hope it would.I loved the fact that the strobe disc is made of metal rather than paper, insuring it will last, and is about the size of a record label, allowing you to put the stylus down on the record to account for stylus drag when setting speed. It’s pricy but it is made well and does exactly what it is supposed to.Be careful and make sure you have the switch on the strobe in the proper position as measuring 33.3 or 45 with the switch in 78 or vice-versa will throw the reported speed off by about 2%.

Grossly overpriced item, indicative of how the retail segment is ripping off the public with everything related to phonograph merchandise. Prices need to come into line with the actual value of the merchandise...

Beautifully made and designed. The disk is aluminum accurate and machined and finished smoothly. The wand used a bright yellow which makes reading the scales easier. A lot of thought and care has going into the engineering of the wand.

I feel kinda silly spending upwards of $100 for a dim flashlight which serves a single purpose. But we have to keep in mind that this is THE product to calibrate turntables. I can now calibrate 33 1/3 or 45 RPM without any doubt for any turntable. The pulse is accurate, as the ring on the strobe disc is motionless on my Technics DD quartz turntable I used for reference. I could have just as easily rigged up an LED to an Arduino, but this is more elegant. Audio Technica makes some of the best turntable peripherals and I am glad they put together such a well thought out product for vinyl enthusiasts. Back to the price, I believe the reason this cost as much as AT's least expensive turntable is speed calibration devices are not in high demand for the average vinyl consumer. If you're in doubt with your turntables speed you cannot go wrong buying this.
