Before i bought this for my mother I verified with the company's web site that this TV was compatible with the xfinity remote. We just spent $100 for s service call to hook it up to fond out it is NOT

A remote was supposed to be included. There was no remote shipped with the television - just two AAA batteries.

This review is for: Audiobox 9" Portable TV - USB/SD Inputs, 3.5mm Output | Includes: Remote, Car Charger, AC Adaptor & Antenna (9 Inch)I really wanted to love this little TV. Taking it on a road trip, camping, anywhere where you want some entertainment with portability.It comes with two antennas. One goes directly onto the TV. The other one has an extension cable so you can put the antenna elsewhere and connect it to the TV with the cord. I noticed that you need to rescan for channels if you switch out the antenna. You can't switch the antenna and expect to get the same channels. I'm about 30 to 40 mi away from the major antennas in an urban city. I have a pretty straight view of them, so normally get pretty good signal on my TiVo. I get around 70 channels with my regular antenna to my TiVo. I wasn't expecting anything near that, but I would settle for the main channels.The antenna that hooks directly to the TV picked up around 18 channels, but only maybe two or three of those would play fluently. The others would freeze up and not play.I switched to the antenna that has the extension cord on it and re-scanned for channels. That picked up it more channels. I was able to get one major network to play fluently. There were a few other channels that worked, but all of the others would freeze and get stuck.The viewing angle is not the greatest. You really have to be straight on to get a good picture. Once you move side to side or up or down, the picture doesn't look great.I noticed that when in the menu, I wasn't able to use the remote to navigate in certain areas. I had to use the buttons on the TV which I thought was odd.The biggest negative of this TV is that it doesn't have an HDMI port. I noticed that in the description, but I thought I would try to use a USB to HDMI adapter. Alas, it did not work. Impossible to hook up a streaming stick. That's mostly what I wanted this for, so I'm pretty disappointed.I feel like the lack of an HDMI port is odd and a big miss.I don't see a lot of usability with this TV. You are stuck with live TV or downloading movies to a memory card and using that. It's just not going to be that usable, unfortunately. The lack of an HDMI port and the screen view being limited is pretty disappointing. Had I known all of this, I wouldn't have got it. I have another audiobox TV that I use daily and have no issues with, so I'm kind of surprised.Hope this was helpful.

This portable tv is easy to set up and the screen is pretty nice for the price point. I couldn’t get any channels where I live with the antenna, but I can plug in a SD card and play movies and shows that I have downloaded. There are different power options as well, which is a plus. I use this when I go camping as many camping grounds don’t have wifi for our iPhones.

The Good:-Different input sources-Solid screen-Easy to useThe Bad:-Antenna gets you no channels-Not as easy to mountThe Bottom Line:I just used this Audiobox a few times in the car and it’s pretty easy to set up. I just loaded up a USB stick and it worked well. The screen is pretty good for the price and it’s nice for car rides especially if you don’t have an ipad or something. What I did find hard was mounting the dice and ended up just using an existing holder that I had that fit. I just couldn’t get it to mount correctly. The other negative is that the antenna doesn’t get any channels. I tried a few times in different areas and I got zero channels. Overall, I would say if you don’t have an ipad then this is worth a look at this price point.
