The ladder-like configuration creates a more stable climb, giving you the confidence you need to get to the top in the safest manner possible
. The system performs well even in wet conditions with its wide, square steps designed to prevent slippage and allow for a solid grip without gripping or slipping.
The ascenders are silent, with a cam-buckle fastening system that holds the system securely in place, and steel bark biters that attach to the tree to prevent damage, while providing an anchor of sorts to tie down the system to in case you need to take a break near the top.
The durable powder coat finish on the Muddy Ascender will outlast any other climbing systems in the long run.

I weigh 180lbs and this climber ladder holds up pretty well, straps could be a little stronger so I use extra tie down straps to secure to the tree. They do weigh a little more than other sticks and are a little bulky. But are pretty solid tree climbing sticks and would buy them again.

Could not use product No Straps were in the box. I needed to set stand up now in mid September... In order to get straps I would have to send entire unit back to amazon.. I'll have to bite the bullet on this one.
