I quite like this. It's a nice sturdy storage box with movable compartments.Once the positions of the compartments are set I would have preferred if they could lock into position - on a number of occasions I've found that reaching for something can cause the compartment to pull out with the item you were reaching for.A tiny dab of (hot) glue would prevent this, so it's not worth giving this a bad review.

Using for large tabletop miniature storage (giants, dragons, elementals, trolls...) Standing on it's side (handle side up) it is sturdy and won't fall over. Moving it flat to retrieve figures doesn't cause a lot of shifting and possible breakage. Short of the crazy expensive foam army-holder chests this is the best large figure storage methods I've seen.

Fantastic find. It holds 8 different sanding disc perfectly still in the original boxes. If I took them out of their original boxes you could hold more.

I have been hunting for quite some time for a way to store my smaller odds and ends items like cell phone charges, auxiliary cords, USB cables, etc & I actually found this one as a recommendation from a You tube video. The bin shipped very quickly and when it arrived, I could not be happier with my purchase. This is an incredible way to keep those smaller items organized that tend to be misplaced in one compact location and with the overall size, this bin can actually it can hold A LOT of items! No more tangled charger cords or missing flash drives, or anything smaller that you don't want to misplace. This is definitely a must when it comes to organization. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this bin- the individual compartments are nice and deep and the dividers meet the lid when it is closed, so in the event it is tipped over, nothing falls into the next compartment like some of the cheaper storage bins. The plastic is fairly heavy duty and the locking clamps keep your items closed securely with easy to see through clear plastic sides. The only negatives I have, if I had to say there were any at all, are that the surface of the plastic dividers are a very smooth plastic- too smooth for the labels for my label maker to adhere to- which wasn't too big of an issue, I just ending up using clear packing tape to go across them so doesn't really take away from the quality, it was just a minor set back. I do wish, however, that if you use multiple compartments for one item, that the extra dividers would slip down into the bottom of the compartment or something so that you can store them inside the bin for future use. Other than that- this bin is a great buy and I would highly recommend it for smaller item storage of any kind. I definitely will be buying more.

I purchased this because I have a growing set of craft supplies and wanted to get some kind of organization for them. I started off looking for something that could hold my stickers and foam pieces with room for expansion and this fit the bill. The box itself measures W14" x L14" 6/8 x D6" and each bin measures W3"1/8 x L6" 5/8 x D6. The latches hold very well, with a nice click to know they are secure. Handle and casing seem very sturdy but haven't tried a large volume of weight as of yet. All the dividers can be removed and set up in any configuration you want but they don't seem to lock in so there is a change they can slide up when removing something.I came across the ArtBin 6939AB Marker Storage Tray and I finally had a place to story my pen sets so I could easy find and use them. It takes the place of 2 of the dividers and hooks in at about half way down the bin. You can put in a max set of 4 of these but there will be no dividers. As a side note there are a few on here that say Prismacolor double sided markers don't fit and I find that to be false as you can see from the pictures. A great add-on and I really can't find anything else like this for marker storage.http://www.amazon.com/ArtBin-6939AB-Marker-Storage-White/dp/B00AI741T6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1422242375&sr=8-2&keywords=artbin+pen&pebp=1422242379828&peasin=B00AI741T6Overall this is a great priced box with a lot function and possibly for all the crafters out there.Positives+Hefty buildCustomizableSeems secureStackableNegatives-Dividers don't lock inBulky item so make sure you have the room

I had been looking for a container big enough to store the many different pistol magazines (forty seven different mags types) that I currently have stored in baggies on my closet shelf or in the safe. When I go to the pistol range, I grab whatever bag of magazines that matches whatever pistols I plan on shooting that day. When I found this container on Amazon I though it would work but was worried that the plastic might be too thin to handle the weight of the various mags. I keep about half of each type of mag loaded with ammo which would increase the weight dramatically.I started to order several but thought I would order just one to see if it worked first. I was pleasantly surprised. The plastic felt sturdy and thick enough to handle the mags easily. I quickly loaded the bin up with the various mags in their individual compartment. Presently I have roughly ten mags of each caliber in the bin with half of those filled with ammo to give you an idea of the weight. The bin handles the weight easily and feels like it would have no trouble being toted around. Granted I have not carried it by the handle any further than the bedroom closet to the kitchen table. I love the removable dividers which will help to store the rifle mags also but wish I could adjust the size of each compartment individually based on the size and number of mags I am placing in that compartment.Considering that this Art Bin is not designed for this, it works remarkable well. I am real happy with it and will be ordering several more. The only negative I have on it is that the latches do not seem overly sturdy as stated in other reviews but so far they work just fine. I doubt I will be it carrying around and will usually just pull it off the shelf and remove what I need and then replace it on the shelf.Might try the single deep also for the smaller mags to fit in.Update: April 4, 2014 - The bin is still working fine for my purposes. I have had one of the latches keep falling off every time I open it. They do go back on easily and I haven't had a problem with them coming off while it is closed. The bin works for me. It is a storage item not a take anywhere item. Since I have purchased this initial one I have also ordered the single deep one to store the smaller mags. It also works perfect for my purposes. Will order another deep one soon for the AR mags.
