Nice case, looks great, works well. But - the case came with a little dent just above the Ethernet jack and below the power switch, and when I took the top cover off, one of the magnets came off the cover. The instructions weren't too bad to follow, but the online PDF does not allow for copy and paste so you have to fat-finger in the commands to load the config scripts. The scripts do all the PCIe config. Also the power button has too many functions (5) to remember. I would also like the HDMI ports to be labeled.

Power Button IssueThe Argon ONE V3 case's power button doesn't work at all - the Pi 5 won't turn on using the case button. Pi works perfectly outside the case. Discovered issue after return window (international gift for school Guatemala). Tried different power supplies but case power button remains dead. Expensive paperweight.

This did everything promised in the marketing. Fan control is relatively quiet, and it doesn't run much if you're not computing heavily- nice. NVMe worked first time but be sure to choose from the recommended NVME Vendor/Part# listing, as others have had unresolvable problems with other 'drives'.I had power button problems, but I think it was not the button (as it always checks out with a meter) but probably the mating 0.1x0.1 mating connector pins. Lots of connectors make this design clever but careful assembly is required. Happy customer, just be thorough in your mating process of different pieces. Also, I received two different part numbers of PCI-connect ribbon cables. Look the same except for color. Which to use? Why not reference the part number to use? I chose one randomly and it worked, but why do I have one left over?

Sometimes you just want your Raspberry Pi project to feel like a finished product instead of a tangle of wires and a bare circuit board, and this case delivers exactly that. It’s clean, functional, and makes the whole setup look polished. The cooling system is excellent. The fan is quiet but effective, and the added heatsinks do a great job keeping everything under control during heavy workloads. It’s the kind of thoughtful design that makes you forget about overheating altogether. The NVMe support is a game-changer. Booting from an NVMe drive is noticeably faster, and the way the drive is tucked away but still accessible is a smart touch. Bonus points for including a heatsink for the drive—it’s the kind of detail that shows someone was thinking about long-term use.The layout of the ports keeps everything tidy, with everything routed to the back. Dual full-sized HDMI ports make dual monitors easy to set up, and even the GPIO pins are accessible under a magnetic cover that keeps things looking sharp. There are some extra features I haven’t fully explored yet, like the built-in IR receiver and the optional audio board upgrade. Both sound cool, and I’m already looking forward to incorporating them into future projects. This case doesn’t just function well; it also looks great. Whether it’s sitting on your desk or tucked into a media center, it fits right in. If you’re like me and want your Pi projects to feel like polished, finished products, this case is worth it.

This case works perfect for my Pi5 set up for Home Assistant. Everything fit well and the fan works great. I couldn't have asked for a better case. Looks great as well!

I tried a few other ones and I like this one because of a few reasons. The form factor is still decently small thankfully. The full size hdmi ports is welcomed. The fan control software was easy to setup on Ubuntu. The nvme port was mostly easy to access and use. There is a screw socket for the nvme I had to move and had to use tiny pliers but overall that’s ok. The case seems to operate cooler from 87c down to 51-53c. The script for the fan is a nice little utility too. The downside is you cannot access the micro SD card slot but not a major issue since nvme is more performant. Fan speed is even configurable too and seems to be quieter than some other cases. The heatsink thermal pads don’t fit super well size wise but doesn’t seem to affect its cooling performance. Assembly took a bit of patience but wasn’t too bad. Instruction booklet was easy to follow and written well.Definitely a great case to get excellent performance from your rpi5

It is really important to download a PDF copy of the product guide onto another computer, if you can. This will give you the ability to view it larger for easier reading. Then be sure to follow the instructions carefully. Section E on page 13 has the steps to get the Power Button and Fan Control script to work. The other part that is tricky is to get the short PCIe cable installed. I used a pair of iFixit tweasers to assist.Mine is all together and it works great! Very impressed with the setup! Would highly recommend it.
