I loved how it is solid wood. It does take two people to put it together. Easiest futton frame I have ever had to fold down into the bed without fiting it to go down.

Instructions were fairly simple, but once you try to put the two primary pieces together, it gets rough. They don’t go together well and you need two people to kind of “slam” it together.

The item sits way too low and is extremely uncomfortable therefore I didn't want the futon. It looked like it sat much higher in the photo. That being said I wanted to return the item, which the company approved. However, although they don't charge for shipping when you purchase the item, the make you responsible for postage if you are not satisfied with it. And to ship this frame back cost more than half the purchase price. Therefore I'm stuck with an item I'm not satisfied with. Needless to say...I'm not a happy customer and will never buy from DCG again.

Product seems exactly as described. After reading the reviews I was a little nervous about assembly but instructions were pretty straight forward. It took two of us about 9O minutes to put together.The futon will be used for occasional overflow of house guests!

It was a pain in the ass to put together but it's a pretty color. Also, it doesn't come with a mattress just a PSA.

All I received was the frame. Cushion and pillows were nowhere to be found😔

The frame is well built and sturdy. The directions were easy to follow. Read all directions before you start. The mechanism works well. The black color is very nice.
