I haven't installed the Antronix MVRA902B-ACP-EZ yet, but after doing thorough research online, I can confidently say that Antronix is one of the best in this category, standing out among other devices. I currently have one main Spectrum internet line with 5 coax ports spread across 4 rooms and 1 in the hallway. I'm looking for a device that can boost and amplify the signal, ensuring the same strength across multiple devices. One thing to note is that the power adapter does not come with a coax cable for power input, so you'll need to purchase a separate coax cable for powering up the device. The complete product package includes three components: the amplifier, the power adapter, and the power inserter.Additionally, I also bought a PPC 2520A GLP-1G70CWWS MoCA 'POE' Coax Filter Cable TV Eliminator along with coax cable caps (gold-plated, F-type, 75-ohm), an 8-pack of coax terminator caps for the splitter, amplifier, and coaxial cable to ensure no loss in RF integrity. The Antronix device comes with built-in 6 kV surge protection, so there's no need to buy a separate surge protection device.Just a heads up, this model has two variants, so make sure you're ordering the latest version, the Antronix MVRA902B-ACP-EZ.

I had another commercial-quality 8 output MoCA amplifier I used for more than 3 years to connect multiple DVRs (Tivo, in my case) over MoCA through the cable. This is a bit of specialized application as you want a device that provides enough amplification to make up for the 8-way splitter loss both for the downstream cable channels (up to 1 GHz) and the upstream return channels for TV and related applications. You also want a splitter that passes the MoCA signals between units with a minimum of loss. Finally, you need a MoCA filter to block MoCA signals from feeding back into the cable network. Presumably one could assemble an appropriate amplifier, splitter, and MoCA filter, but having everything together insures it is all optimized for this application. My original amplifier failed, and, when I tried to get warranty service, the company seemed to be out of business or at least was completely non responsive. As I searched around I found this Antronix amplifier that serves the same purpose with slightly better specs. It is listed on the Antronix website as a current product, with a very reasonable price. However, when I tried to order one, Antronix said it was not in stock, and gave no indication of when it would be. I then ordered one from another vendor who had some in stock. The amplifier was straightforward to install, and it has been working great for me. I get a slightly elevated signal at each of my DVRs because the amplifier passes the slightly high input from the cable. But I have seen no issues. Also, my MoCA networks works just fine.As far as the product, I highly recommend this MoCA amplifier. It is well made. While it does not come with a lot of information, it is pretty straightforward to install for anyone who understands the basics of cable and MoCA networks. It performs its specialized job very well in all aspects. My only concern is whether Antronix plans to continue this unit based on my attempted purchase from them. I hope they will, as this seems to be the best product available for the application. At least Antronix is still a going concern and reputable company that should provide support.

Prior to purchasing and installing this, I used a non-MoCA amplifer/splitter. That worked great for years - until I had my cable system upgraded to a system that deployed multiple MoCA devices (mini TiVOs in this case) throughout my house. I experienced far too many transmission errors with the old amplifier, and all of those went away when I installed this MoCA-complient amplifier/splitter. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.

We're building a custom home and I opted to take care of all the coax and ethernet things in the house myself. When the utility company came to install our cable/internet service, they were impressed by the MVRA902B. To quote one of the installers, "Oh wow, that's like what we have at headquarters." Easy to install, works exactly as expected, and seems quite durable.
