I don't recall when exactly I first came across Anker products, it's been years now I suppose. Every product I've purchased from Anker has been a delight, even down to the packaging. This charger is no exception, it came well packed and felt like you were getting a product worthy of your money and ease of mind. It has a nice weight to it, and the ability to control how the power is distributed among the ports is just awesome and helpful. The Anker app is extremely easy to use and paired with this device almost instantly... I didn't encounter any connectivity issues at all. Once connected to my WiFi, it quickly alerted me to a firmware update. I don't know why, but just seeing the wattage fluctuate depending on the device and how much charge it needs gives me so much joy. I can easily see that it's not over charging devices or causing battery damage. I love it so much that I purchased another one and a carrying case so that I can have it handy while traveling. Whether it's charging my laptop, Pixel phone, Pixel watch, or whatever else... It does the job. It's well worth the investment.

Pretty neat unit. It's relatively small but has several ports and it does charge things very quickly. It's also very heavy and has a great, well-made feel. It held up well as a central charging station for a DNow weekend.

What is like about the charger is that it monitors each device independently. It will not overcharge. This can save Li-on batteries from damage. There is a nice clock display along with detailed output information for 5 out of the 7 USB plugs. The ability to check charging status on your cell phone is a big plus. Great value given the fact that it can charge most laptops eliminating the need for a big transformer on a cable.

This charger is one of the best things I’ve bought recently. It charges everything—my phone, iPad, Vision Pro, Kindle, laptop, PS5 controller, Switch, and more. Even with all those plugged in, it delivers fast charging speeds to every device. The LCD display is awesome. It’s super handy to see how much power each port is using. Plus, the holiday themes and animations are just fun. I even use it as a nightstand clock. It’s small and compact, so it doesn’t take up much space. But if you tug on the cables, it does slide around a bit. The little feet help, but it’s not perfect.Charging my Anker 27K battery pack with this was wild. It went from empty to full in under an hour. Seriously impressive. It has enough ports for most of my needs. Still, I wouldn’t say no to a few extra ports.I got it on sale, and it’s 100% worth what I paid. Even at full price, it’s solid. It feels built to last, and I don’t think I’ll need a replacement anytime soon.Pros: • Charges multiple devices at full speed • Compact and space-saving • LCD display with fun animations and themes • Charges high-power devices ridiculously fast • Quiet and well-builtCons: • Power cable could be longer • Slides around with cable tugs • Could use more portsIf you’re managing multiple devices, get this charger. It’s efficient, reliable, and fun to use. Highly recommend!

So, if you want the best, here it is. For reference, I have so many chargers shaped kinda/mostly like this that I lost count years ago, and for some reason I'm always still looking for the best one. And, as of August, 2024, here it is. This thing is fantabulous. Why, well let's get started:1.) Super easy to set up. Controls are a satisfying scrolling wheel/crown and the ability to click the wheel in (think the crown on an Apple Watch).2.) Once plugged in, you can connect the charger to BT/WiFi via the Anker app. This is very simple to do, by rotating the dial till you get to the Settings page, click in the button to confirm, and select the wireless option. It will then show up in the Anker app and you'll be able to further confirm wireless settings there.3.) Extremely customizable either on device OR in the app. Do you want the total wattage displayed for 30 seconds before the screen turns off or switches to the time and date? Would you prefer longer than 30 seconds? Perhaps a minute? Perhaps 5? Perhaps longer than that? Or perhaps permanently on the wattage screen? Sure, do what you like! Is the screen too bright? Adjust that, too. Oh, and do you want to see the voltage and amperage on a per-port basis? Easily done, too, with selecting the port by scrolling the crown, and clicking it in to see more info about the usage.I love that you can use the app (once the charger is connected to WiFi) to see usage and current wattage/set schedules, - from anywhere in the world. Curious if your laptop is done charging without having to go back upstairs? Easily checked.Overall, this thing is marvelous and just looks and feels so polished. If there are any glitches in the future, Anker also has the ability to send this thing firmware updates. It has no trouble with high-wattage devices, has intelligence in terms of which port to send power to, and on the 2024 Asus ROG Ally X it has no issue sending 100W of power to the device as requested. However, as of August 12, 2024, I have discovered one bug, which is the screensaver set to turn off the display after x amount of time doesn’t work properly. What happens is, for example, if you set the screen to turn off after 1 minute, - that’s what happens. However, several minutes later the screen turns back on to the clock/date, and the screen saver option has reset to Time/Date rather than off. A bit odd, and annoying in a bedroom when you want the screen to stay off.Overall, this is the best desk charger yet, but this bug is annoying and needs to be addressed.4 out of 5. Close to perfect.*EDIT August 20, 2024.Anker just released firmware update 1.1.1.4. It adds some new clocks, and tweaks some charging algorithms, but does NOT fix the bug of not being able to have the screen stay off. Boo. :-(*EDIT August 24, 2024If you don’t use the WiFi connection this bug does not appear.*EDIT September 17, 2024Anker are now aware of the problem and a firmware update around October will apparently solve it. Will update as and when!*EDIT October 6, 2024The above issue is fixed as of the latest firmware!

The charging station arrived promptly and without issue, and the physical device seems high quality and it will do what it is expected to do, providing the necessary power for my devices. I am taking away one star, however, due to the requirement to create an account to access most features in the app. It should be possible to use the charging station without creating an Anker account, but most features in the app will not work without creating an account.Creating an account was cumbersome, because I did it from my computer and it did not require a password, just an email with a verification code. But the app requires a password to login, so I had to go through a password reset process to be able to do basic configuration of the new device, such as upgrading the firmware.I'm a big fan of Anker products, but this is the first charger that has required me to create an account and login, which should be optional, not obligatory to set up the device and perform basic functions such as upgrading the firmware.

This thing is built and works well. I use it on my standing desk at home to power my personal laptop, iPad, phone, and headset. Sometimes at the same time. The app that comes with it to do features like set a charging timer is great. I highly recommend.Side note, if you’re like me and debated between this and the other one with the two AC outlets, I have both. The other one has a massive charging block for the wall but it’s slimmer… so I actually keep the other one in my backpack for when I’m on the go. I would’ve kept this one in my backpack but it’s just too large and heavy.

My first impression was just the sheer weight of the package when it was delivered! It's built out of solid metal on all sides and feels like you could hammer nails with it! Does a great job of dissipating heat when running at full power, and should be nice and sturdy over the years. The control dial on the side has a solid feel to it as well as good tactile stops in both rotation and clicking. Ribbed surface resists fingerprints pretty well so you can handle it without making a mess.Maxes out the charging capacity of everything I've connected to it, and the ability of the app to set power levels and even schedules are great for maximizing the long term health of those batteries. The main ports being on the front makes things messier and would have been nicer to have some of them on the back, but it does make it easy to plug things in and out.AC power cord is heavy guage with a nice firm plug and a velcro strap for storage. There is a big inline ferrule on the device end, but the transformer is in the main charger so no big brick to worry about. Included a photo as that was one thing I felt missing when I first purchased it. It's a standard unpolarized two pin connector too, so if it ever wears out it can be replaced easily! While the weight is great when using this on your desk, it's a bit of a liability if you plan to travel with it. Unlike a lot of Anker products I've purchased in the past this does not come with a carrying case and is really intended to be set up and left in place. At first I thought the display was a little gimmicky, but it's been really handy for getting to know the charging patterns of my devices. The clock screensaver is also a useful addition as simple as it is.It is very expensive even for this power level, but for that premium you get a solid piece of equipment that will last for many years. Charger standards will likely obsolete this unit looong before it ever begins to wear out. If you value longevity this is worth every penny!
