They are nice and thick and definitely come in handy while handling our snakes. The hook is okay, broke after just a few short months. Was only used on a hatchling so not too much weight was ever put on it.

The gloves feel very safe from a bite, but are difficult to get an initial hold on my snakes. The hook is small and flimsy, I had to support the weight is an adolescent male ball python because it was too heavy for the hook. I definitely won’t be using it on my fully grown pythons.
