These are not even close to original Andersen quality and over priced. Yes the screw holes line up but that is the only positive feature.

This hardware easily replaces original Anderson latches. However, unlike the originals these are plastic.

If you have Anderson windows it’s hard to find window locks that fit. This lock is a perfect fit - no need to drill new holes. More expensive than a lock from the local hardware but in the end worth it.

Latch broke on my Andersen window installed in 1979. Pleasantly surprised to discover the new latch lined up with the old screw holes. Five minute install no fuss no muss.

I had read the reviews and accepted that these ones are composite. It looks much larger than original from my 82 single hung window. The screw holes lined up correctly and did apply the pressure to make a proper seal. I had tried a standard sash lock from a box store. The keeper sits at an angle because of how the window is made and thus doesn't properly compress the window. This caused a draft and I wasn not able to open the window because the keeper sat over the sash. This product had neither of those problems. Pricey but functional.

This sash lock is a good replacement. I have Andersen windows from the early 1990s which have metal sash locks. I was cautious about replacing the locks and took a chance on these since they are a composite material. However, I have 2 Anderson replacement windows in my home and their composite locks are exactly the same as those that I recently ordered. These were easy to install, look almost the same color as the original, and I expect them to last a long time. The price was great. I recommend this item.
