This counter is very practical but seems a bit high, step numbers. No reader is perfect, but, this is better than others I've had.Pros: easily attached and operated. Numbers are easily read. Best of all, if your arms are not moving but your body is -- great -- as it counts those steps your watch pedometer misses.Cons: (not important to me but maybe to you) Information isn't downloadable to a computer or app. I believe steps registered are a bit higher than they should be.Observation: the device is advertised as starting count after about 10 steps. It seems like mine doesn't have that lag. GreatOverall, I'm happy with this. It's so easily used in every way. Nice clip on holder with cutouts for buttons. Easily operated. If I take a longer view and figure out the steps aren't higher (not by as much as i expect) I will up my rating. For now 4 stars.

First off - this uses 1 - CR2032 coin style battery. I don't see that detail anywhere on the product listing as of this writing, and it seems like a critical piece of information to me.I've only used it for 2 full days, but it's been very consistent with the step counter on my watch. It's been within 1-2% (higher both days). That's much better than any other clip on Pedometer I've tried. Some can be off by a thousand steps a day. This one has been with in 100 - 200.While I have the watch, there are times my wrist is not moving, causing it to miss steps. Walking on the treadmill (I usually hang on for stability) and pushing a shopping cart through a store are two consistent cases where my watch doesn't 'measure' up. Since this can be placed most anywhere, that won't be an issue with it.It doesn't get the steps into my fitness app, so I still don't get credit for them, but at least I know how many I took.
