First, you should know that this is really thin. It is made well and I am sure it will work for some spaces. It just did not work for me. Second, it has a warning to wear gloves. I am not sure if it is because it is so thin and was a warning in case you cut your hands or because the material are not safe. In any case, it made me uneasy to use it because I have animals. Third, I didn't fit in any of the transitional spaces I needed to use it for. One space was between a bedroom with carpet and a tiled bathroom. It was way too thin to do anything for that space. The second was a space between tile and hardwood. Because the part that goes in is so short, it wouldn't stay in. I think it would work with glue to keep it in but I don't want to do that. I can see that it worked for other people so I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from trying it but I think it is important for people to know that it is thin and shallow. It will work for a specific space that needs that.

Tiny and sleek, but had a high impact. Super easy to cut with a saw, and easy to install although I had the husband go back and add caulk to hold it. The gold is lovely and have had no issues with durability. Super low profile, functions and works great

Not much to say here. The product is clean straight and machined well. It’s a strip of aluminum.

These Aluminum T-Molding Floor Transition Strips are like a Tinder date profile: they look promising in pictures but disappoint in person. At first glance, their sleek matte black finish screams modern elegance, but the moment you pick one up, you’ll be wondering if it’s actually made of aluminum or recycled soda cans.Installation is marketed as “effortless,” which is true—if your effort threshold is lying on the floor gluing things down like a budget DIY project gone wrong. Cutting them is easy, sure, but getting a straight edge? That’s apparently an optional feature. And no, they don’t include glue, because apparently, you’re supposed to already have a magical adhesive stash at home.Durability? Let’s just say these strips have the structural integrity of a potato chip. “Robust support” is a bold claim for something so thin you’ll think twice about stepping on it. Bonus points if you have animals or kids—it doubles as a lesson in fragility when they inevitably dent it within 48 hours.Sure, these strips *technically* cover gaps and look semi-decent from a distance (preferably with the lights off). But for something designed to fill a simple gap, they leave plenty of gaps in expectations. If you like the aesthetic of “barely-there chic” and don’t mind periodic re-gluing, these might be for you.For the rest of us, maybe just leave the gap—it’s less effort and probably more stylish.

I received 3 strips and the dimensions are accurate. I was supposed to be reviewing a matte gold, I received bright and shiny gold. It looks absolutely nothing like the picture and they don't have an option for this color but do offer matte black, matte silver and matte gold. I was going to use it between laminates as it is supposed to offer "robust support" but the material is very thin and is not robust. I don't like writing negative reviews but I have been invited to participate in the Amazon Vine program and it is my responsibility to offer an unbiased opinion. I hope you found this review helpful.
