This brand makes good items for affordable prices. This is a very sturdy and well cast mount. It is worth the money and then some.

I removed 1 star due to how difficult it is to adjust the angle however, other than that it works perfectly! The build quality is great and I love how the locking knob is adjustable so you can easily move the knob whenever you please simply by pulling it away and rotating it. I highly recommend

No problems here. I can't imagine I would ever as this to hold something that it couldn't handle. My 100W Aperture with 47" softbox is no issue for this.

I have a small home studio and like to mount my cameras from the ceiling to save floor space. The problem with this is that the mounts that come down from the ceiling do not have the right angle for my camera. This little adapter works perfectly to change the mounting angle and allow me to position my cameras exactly where I need them. The adapter locks out solidly and I have never had them come loose when they shouldn't.

This is great. Lots of options to connect. I’m using it for a slightly non-standard (non-intended) use which is to connect a bendable arm onto a microphone boom. The lockable angle joint is critical for me, then two female ends with tightening bolts to on either end.But one of the things that I don’t like about this isn’t fair to rate the product down on, which is that the one fastener that has the metal rod that slides back and forth with gravity (so that if it’s running into something you can slide it the opposite way to keep tightening it). But it jiggles. Which is fine on a camera, but on my audio boom pole is a nuisance. So I’ve rigged up a velcro loop to hold it still once it’s set. Ah. But I’m still giving this 5 stars, also because it came with two different c-stand attachment heads which is always useful to have more of!

The previous reviewers have found all the positive and negative sides of the product. I have very little to add. This is a good product. It is well designed. The only negative side I see is that the main handle - the one that stands out at 20 degrees angle - is unnecessarily big. It could be twice smaller. This may become important when packing the bracket in a small bag.

I have a much older bracket like this that is not nearly as sturdy and has plastic parts that limit the amount of force that can be used in securing it. This bracket is all metal. That means it's heavy in comparison to others, but that simply gives it more strength.Personally I have no need for the two attachments that come with it. I appreciate the strong grip that teeth give in locking the angle adjustment in place, and the long handle on the lock screw. I do sometimes use umbrellas, and this gives me exactly the flexibility and sturdieness I need.
