I order this for a Sporster 1200 mod. 2000, all the kit was on point, except for the plunger, it was a little bit longer and would push further outside the starter sprocket grinding with the clutch, you can cut the exceeding porportion of the plunger but my old plunger was still good so i reused my old plunger and left the new one as spare. When you are replacing your kit just keep an eye with the lenght of the plunger.

Took this to my mechanic since I don't have a torque wrench to properly put the primary cover back on with the right pressure as well as not having spare gaskets on hand. He installed it and I rode away the same day. Now my XLH1200 fires right up every time. Definitely investing in a torque wrench and spare gaskets now.

The product does not come as a true rebuild. The solenoid terminal is not part of the rebuild kit.

The battery side contact has less contact surface area than the OEM contact. But the rest of the kit is acceptable quality. This kit fixed my 2000 Fatboy. This kit fits many models.
