I have no clue how others got the boot over cone. After lubricating the cone as directed I pushed and pushed until finally I got the boot to the wide part of the cone. I then stopped for a break and while not touching anything I watched my boot split from one end to the other rendering it useless Oh and as a bonus I severely jammed my thumb because I was pushing so hard. Like I said I haven’t a clue how others did this but for me it was a complete joke the has left my thumb hurting weeks later.

Saved me time and money, but boot seemed a little small ,it was VERY difficult/very tight to put on/stretch over the cone, luckily I had an extra pair of hands to help,but it worked ,saved mucho $$$

Trail boot cone is awesome. Actual boot is solid, nothing to complain about for the price. Keep a kit in your atv for emergencies.

This worked great to replace the CV boots on my Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT. It takes some muscle to push the boots over the cone but it works well.

Difficult to slide boot on initially. It’s been on my Mule Pro over a year and functions perfectly. I use the Mule on farm daily. Definitely would buy again.

FAST EASY ! WORKS JUST LIKE YOU SAID IT WOULD. THE BOOT SLID ONTO AND OFF WITHOUT TEARING. (DON'T PUT BOOT ON TO TOOL UNTIL YOU HAVE TOOL IN PLACE) TO SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME DON'T USE CV BEARING GREASE UNTIL YOU HAVE BOOT IN PLACE ON BEARING HOUSING ( THE GREASE ON BEARING KEPT GETTING ON BOOT MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A GOOD GRIP TO SLIDE BOOT IN PLACE ON HOUSING)

Gave it five stars because it seemed like a great product but what I did not realize is that it is not for cars. Or maybe very little cars. I guess it is for small all terrain vehicles. It was way too small for what I needed for the front axel of a small four wheel drive pickup. But that was my mistake so I gave it the benefit of doubt and gave it five stars. So no real test of the product here because I had to send it back.
