Put on my front double doors and it made the world of difference with cold drafts. My porch isn’t,t heated but can feel the difference having tape on door that it isn’t,t as cold in there, and you don,t notice it on!Would highly recommend will be purchasing more to put on other doors as well as windows.

Easy to apply. Bought for drafts around windows and doors at home. Front door was so bad every winter I put a blanket in front of it but that didn't help with drafts on sides. This blocked it all. Used on all windows where I felt a draft and even brought some to work for my large office wundow which had bad drafts.

It seems to be working pretty good so far! Definitely make sure you clean whatever surfaces you are sticking the tape part to. But working on my door with a half cm gap all around the edges.

We have had a gap along the bottom side of our door allowing the cold wind to come in. Applied this and it totally works! No more cold breeze and it was easy to apply! Highly recommend!!!

I was not sure if this would work or not but wanted to try. My home is new but the doors are so drafty. I took one roll and measured out each side of the door and placed the tape. I am not kidding it felt 2 -3 degrees warmer almost immediately. There is no more draft coming in the door at all. Next I will be putting on my windows. Definitely recommend this product, so easy to put up and it works.

This is a great handy product for an easy quick fix on door drafts or excessive light due to gaps between a door and a frame. My only complain is the lack of any color options. I'm sure you could paint the strip but having only clear, I wish it did come in white. There a lot of doors & frames that are white. So if you're not using this as not a draft blocker only but trying to block excess light, it doesn't work so well with it being clear. Light still seeps through the cracks between a door and a frame and can be really annoying. I haven't tried to paint it yet so I don't know how a quick white spray paint job will hold up on this but it's easy to apply, easy to peel off. Having said that it's a good idea to anchor top bottom and center of whatever strips you cut with some self-tapping screws into either the door or the frame itself depending on how you apply it because I'm sure the adhesive will fade over time. But in a pinch this product is great and roughly 2/3 of the cost of retail at a local hardware store.

Seemed all right in areas that did not receive strong sunlight. I painted my window wells and installed it just to have to constantly open my windows and reinstall from falling.

This stuff is solving two issues on my basement entry door. 1.it is the original door on a 70 year old home and exposure to below grade dampness makes the wood swell and come apart at the frame joints. I repainted it with a moisture resistant sealing paint, even on the bottom edge. Then I glued and clamped the splayed seams back in place, for the third time in 15 years. I just needed something that would not hold moisture against the wood, and close the large gap under the door to prevent it from sitting on damp concrete and to keep the spiders and crickets from coming in. It is a non standard size door, so when I thought I was going to replace it, the price was $4,000.!I ordered the Alien seal tape, wrapped the front and back bottom of the door with it. It provides moisture resistance, a draft barrier, and a pest barrier in one product,without drilling holes in the door. It only cost $30. It is very easy to apply, very flexible and waterproof. It adheres very well, yet can be adjusted as you are installing easily. Once I got everything in place, I ran over the adhesive part with a wallpaper seam roller to activate the permanent seal. I couldn’t be happier.

I have been using ALIEN DRAFT SEAL for a few years now. And I can tell you it is by far the best THING and easiest way to seal doors and windows inside and outside. Our new puppy has scratched some of it off of the back door inside so I need to replace that part. But I have it on the outside of the door and it has not come off at all through wind,snow,ice, or rain it Absolutely does what it is designed to do. I used this at my MOMS 175 year old home and she is so thrilled that it still is doing its job. The Quality of this product is first class easy to use measure cut peel and press no mess one and done. Year after year. I can’t recommend this enough to you. But trust me you will not be disappointed!!

WOW this Alien draft seal tape is the Best!!!This is a product I’ve been waiting for someone to come up with-Easiest of any product i’ve used on front and back doors Ever!!-Just cut to length , remove backing and just line up with edge of door and then just smooth down adhesive side as you put tape in position.A real unique feature of this Alien tape is that the adhesive area is washable!!If you get the adhesive side of tape in some dirt or dust just wash under running water.Which also makes this tape re-usable , just wash let dry and roll up and store to re-use when needed.This tape being chiefly made from silicone is really malleable and soft and will pretty much be resistant to cold weather and remain pliable where other products won’t and become stiff and will not adhere well.I liked this product so well I just orderred another box !!!
