As received, the unit was a bit balky- the indicator would 'stick' and release unpredictably.I filled the interior with mineral oil, and it works smoothly now. Not sure why they don't do that at the factory......

The indicator wiggles and sticks. As another reviewer said, you can fill it with mineral oil and it will work much better, but mine just cracked when I tried to disassemble it. I'd give zero stars if I could.
